No work for a week now and lots of Xbox time to fit in.

Rocked: drove to school today in morning traffic, rewatched the departed, and talked to a cute girl in one of my classes.
Sucked: got a major final paper assigned that i'm not feeling inspired to do in the least. lost track of time and got to my moms work to catch a ride home late after rushing. she was behind so i had to sit and do nothing for 45 extra minutes. got home eager to play guitar, and found out she'd broken one of my strings by knocking it over this morning and been TOO ****ING BUSY TO REMEMBER TO LET ME KNOW. if she'd just remembered to let me know, i'd just be disappointed. with the things they were i was goddamn furious. called her up and got in a screaming match over it, then when she got home it slipped her mind that we'd even talked about it despite her ending the phone call with an ALL CAPS "we'll talk about it when we get home".
i even had to convince her that it was HER responsibility to replace it. went to google guitar shops to stop at the next day, internet was down. already ****ed i had to quarrel with some indian woman that time warner had outsourced to for thirty minutes. now that the internets back and alls said and done, i'm just sitting here more ****y than i've been in a LONG time with nothing to do but vent about it to you all sitting next to an unplayable guitar.
i'm wholly aware i'm probably overreacting, but it's not every day you find something new to do that you love and enjoy. this got taken away not 2 weeks after i started.

Rocked: Christmas lights up and running. Leaving for Ocean City at 3 in the morning.
Sucked: We have to get our lights up and running for the 27th of November, and we're going to Ocean City as, as a way of remembering. Six years since we lost Catie to cancer. She'd be 15 this year. "Sucked" is hopelessly inadequate, but it beggars any more eloquent description.

Sucked: It's raining. And warm. And I just did PT. Outside. We ran. And then we did pushups. In the rain. On soaking wet concrete. While the Air Force played ultimate frisbee inside on the turf.

Finally got that humidifier I needed. Been getting into the old 360 games that I barely touched (like Kameo), been missing out.
