Whats Rocked And Sucked?

Rocked: Hot chocolate at 8.30 in the morning - made it all worthwhile

Sucked: Some tosser got my sister's car clamped, they have a huge fine to pay and no money to pay it as because of a newborn baby, my sister is out of work and she and her husband are struggling on his wages alone. People suck.
 
Sucked: Even when I want to be sociable and am desperately trying to be so, I have no idea how to go about it.

Rocked: Coastie Auxiliary training tomorrow! I get to sit in meetings getting lectured from 9-4:30! Yay! Seven and a half hours! This is even more fun-sounding than umpire training!

Get to watch the game later after work and relax a little. Got a new puppy.

Sucked

4 hours sleep in 2 days thanks to puppy making noise at night, he chewed my laptop cable, living room is a mess of newspaper currently and i cant stand an untidy house and i have even less time in the day to do things i want now i have to watch him like some newborn baby. Didnt get to have any gaming time last night either and its a ritual on a Friday night. Plus at work after very little sleep and got a full shift ahead of me and got to go to a birthday party late tonight.

Sucked: Other people. I get it, ok? But FFS would you please back off and stop laying into everything I say because you have some personal hangups about the whole subject. Good grief, I show you enough damn tolerance considering the crap you come out with - do you think you can manage the same courtesy? I have no idea why you've gone from respectful to utterly confrontational but it's unwarranted, unfair and downright nasty. What the hell did I ever do to you?
 
Rocked: The elusive Scottish sun made a most welcome appearance.
Sucked: I've been in pain all day :(

Thanks. I want to go to OCS when I graduate, but until then I can be an Auxiliarist and get something vaguely resembling experience. Plus, I get to help found a university detachment for the DC metro area, which is pretty cool.

And now excuse me while I ramble-- honestly, I didn't really get what the Auxiliary was. Thought it was kinda like CAP, or a bunch of old guys who like to hang around boats. And some of them, apparently are. But the flotilla I'm involved with is a bunch of young'uns, they're very involved with the CG in DC, and it's generally really cool.

I mean, I hadn't really grasped that the Auxiliary is an actual part of the CG. But apparently they can help out active duty in a lot of very real ways. No law enforcement or military, obviously, but a lot of different stuff.
 
Rocked: New furniture and rearranged the living room.. feels much nicer than before and the cats seem to like the new layout. Got a new wireless keyboard for my gaming PC. Pizza tonight for dinner again.

Sucked: Snowed once again, and the driveway is very icy now, along with the walking paths... going to need more salt now.

Other: Neither rocked or sucked, but.. Heard the cats making noises in our bedroom, like screaming and shouting, but in a playful way. I decided to walk up there and check on them, only to walk in on them doing dirty things to each other. Buddy was ontop of Hobbes in a dominant manner and was licking him in certain places, when I walked in on them I startled them and they looked at me like I was in the wrong for not knocking first. Both of them looked pretty embarrassed, so I gently closed the door and left them alone.

... I'll probably have to change the sheets though.

Decent night sleep last night as the puppy slept for a long time. Watching Rob Zombie tonight also in Birmingham and Spartacus Episode last night was superb.

Sucked

Day off but im at work today (swapped day to tomorrow because of gig) and had letter from work yesterday about redundancies (again) and loss of work hours. The workers are going to have a choice.
 
Rocked: Steve let me lie in until 11am

Sucked: Jake being a little git, my back is in hell and I've got hospital tests this afternoon which I could really do without.
 
Rocked: Coast Guard Auxiliary stuff.

Sucked: English major.

Sucked: Internship stuff I really need to get done and haven't.

Sucked: Spanish homework I need to get done and haven't.

Sucked: Reading I need to get done and haven't.

Sucked: Umpiring classes that I really hate but am making myself do anyway.

Sucked: HUNGRY.

Sucked: Two one-hour meetings coming up. I can skip one of them, but I have to hang around until one person comes whose money I need to take.

Sucked: I am still a hormone-addled angst-ridden dipshit, and am not likely to be miraculously cured. Dammit.
 
Sucked: forgot that i had to get up early today and ended up rushing to class without a shower or so much as brushing my teeth. too broke to buy anything, so without food until tonight. underslept.

Rocked: I just saved 15% or more on my car insurance :thumbsup:
 
Rocked: Pretty good week

Sucked: Child from hell popped over unexpectedly today and stole my cola bottles. Dirty little thief needs a good smack...
