Rocked: Thunderstorm rolled in tonight, brought down the temperature as well.

Sucked: Mom is still in hospital, I'm worried. Annoyed that test results still haven't been brought out.

Day off work and finally got an hour to myself to browse forums without being interrupted.

Sucked

'Day off' has consisted of babysitting my niece, taking a trip to vets to get boosters for dog and cat and tidying the house. Not how i want to spend a day off really.

Rocked: We're all go for the extension - plus my sister and my niece are coming for the week so I can actually leave the house for a change and go out because THEY HAVE A CAR!!!

Sucked: Builders will be here at the most stupid time with me only have a few days before I'm due...can't have timed this worse. Plus a false alarm at the weekend meant lots of rushing around which came to nothing and now the hospital have said it's very unlikely I'll get there in time so to be prepared for "an emergency home birth". Nice.

Was for PC and my laptop wont run it, so i have access to one of my most anticipated games of this year and cant play it.

Went to a wedding at the weekend and had a good time and no work tomorrow.

Sucked

Got insanely drunk at the wedding and afterparty and didnt remember much of the night but i was informed that i couldnt even string a sentence together by the end of the night. For shame indeed...

Sucked: It's not over yet. Plus a good friend of mine has been struck with some mystery virus which has left her blind in one eye, fitting at random intervals and gives her crushing headaches without warning. She's been in hospital almost a month now whilst they're trying to figure out what on earth is wrong with her and she's got two kids at home who have no idea what's happened to their mother...horrible stuff

Will soon have my first 2 weeks off work of the year. Deus Ex Human Revolution is out soon and almost finished all of L.A. Noire's cases including all DLC. Made £125 selling old games i no longer play on Ebay in order to use that money for new ones.

Havent had enough sleep for weeks, havent had enough time to finish other games i wanted to get through yet either.

Havent had enough sleep for weeks, havent had enough time to finish other games i wanted to get through yet either.

That makes two of us then, been getting about 4-5hrs a day lately.. I can't keep this up much longer.

Rocked: Sister got herself 2 new kittens after her ex dumped her old 2 out on the streets, it's nice to see her happy again. Mom has fully recovered from her infection and is back to normal again, I can rest easy now.

Sucked: Grandmother had to go back to the hospital again and rushed to intensive care for stomach pains and breathing troubles. Last time she went a month ago it was for the same reason and it turned out to be a tumor. She's currently stable, but they don't know the cause of the pain just yet.

My family is just getting all kinds of crap luck lately.

Kind of, got lots planned but nothing as hectic as a festival and drinking for 5 days straight with 2 hours sleep like usual. Just meant to be going to different places (WaterWorld, Shell Island and Cardiff to go to set of Torchwood being some we are talking about).

My family is just getting all kinds of crap luck lately.

Seems to happen like that and come in waves.

Rocked: No builders for at least a week so I can not panic about going into labour in front of a bunch of strange men.

Sucked: In hospital last night with baby not moving, hypotension and other unpleasantness - everything's ok but with 3 days to go, I could really do without the stress. Stuck in hospital until 3am, got about 4 minutes' sleep and then it was time to get up again and I am so tired...looks like I could have severe anaemia as well as the low BP so it's all going to be fun for the next few months. Ugh...

Spent yesterday afternoon in the pub watching the game, we won in a thrilling 3-2 game. Had a great curry afterwards too. Only 4 days of work left then im off for 2 weeks.

Getting up at 6am for work again today.

Rocked: Grandmother was diagnosed with a staph infection that can be cured. Niece's birthday party was nice, felt good to get away from some stress for a bit. Upgrading my modem, should alleviate or remedy my connection issues as of late. Fixed mother's laptop.

Sucked: Need a new dryer, so hopefully can get one sometime this week. Need a new air-conditioner as well... 10 years with this damn thing has been long enough.
