Thanks to you, I just found out it's free. Definitely going to download it soon.

Dont know how i missed both of them being released for free but ive managed to get them both working pretty well on Vista with some tweaking and updating.

Rocked

Suns out again today and looking to be a nice couple of days. Had some relaxing days over last few days and football is on tomorrow so get to go to the pub on a Monday for the first time in a while. Going to play a little bit of Red Alert and see if i get the same nostaligic feeling i had the last time i played it.

Sucked

Figuring out what to buy Amy for her birthday.

Sucked: Found out my Grandmother is going to die soon. The doctors took her off her medication and don't know how long she has left, but she won't eat anything and hasn't eaten for many days now.

*sigh*... very sad right now.

Yeah, she doesn't want to live anymore because of the extreme pain she's in (even though she doesn't moan about it, so nobody will know). My aunt kept beating around the bush when telling people, but it's obvious now that my Granny is dying from cancer as both her parents had died from colon cancer.

So me and the rest of the family (what's left anyway) is going to head out later today to say our final goodbyes to her, but my Aunt told us that she might not hear, see, nor speak to us from the condition she's in. Was very close to her, but it ****es me off that only 10 years ago she was kicking strong like she was 40 years younger (she's 90 now), until that one hospital misprescribed medication to her that crippled her for the rest of her life.

She was the matriarch of our family, so it's hard for me to accept losing her like this.

At least she's had a good run. 90 is a fair effort, and it's further than my uncle got. Not that that makes it any easier.

But yeah, I wish all the cool people in the world could just not die.

Sorry to hear this man and i had similair thing and have lost 2 grandfathers and 1 grandmother so far and only have 1 left currently. My grandfather died a couple of months ago after a long painful battle with many different problems so i can understand. Its horrible seeing someone who was so full of life and so strong at their age suddenly turn into a shadow of their former selves. Best way to think about it is would you rather them continue to suffer or have the pain stop finally as its no quality of life living in constant pain.

Yeah, you guys are right. She did live a full life and had tons of stories to tell all the time, it's hard still seeing her in the declining state she's in, but at the same time I really don't want her suffering anymore. Heh, I wouldn't mind a bit of immortality here and there, just for a little while..

Thanks guys.

Sucked: Granny passed away last night, everyone else went to go see her dead body except for me, since I didn't want my last memory of her to be only that. The other members of the family didn't get to say goodbye in time, and she was comatose when I had went on Monday, unfortunately.

Rocked: Internet service repaired and upgraded. Took my cat Hobbes to the vet after he got poisoned, treating him with anti-biotics now and he's doing okay again.

I feel you. My grandmother died two months ago. I had to go on Emergency Leave (I was deployed to Kuwait at the time) to go see her. She raised me as a child, 'till I was a Teenager, so I was very close to her. My cousins (Who are majority in the Military, as well) had to take Emergency Leave, too, to go out and see her back on Guam. I loved my Grandmother so much and I miss her dearly, but she's in a better place now and she's no longer in pain.

Seeing her at the Funeral was not the way I wanted to remember her, and although it wasn't the prettiest image, I'm glad I still saw her and touched her. She'll always remain beautiful in my memories.

Sadly, I wasn't able to see her in her last days. It hurts a lot, because I haven't seen her for YEARS. I'm just glad I made her proud.

I don't know if this would help you, but it helped me. When I was on that Plane to Guam, after finding out my Grandmother passed away, all the way 'till a few days after the Funeral, I listened to this song. It helped me a great deal, because it had also been years since I've actually been back to Guam:

Yeah, some of them were discussing the separating of her ashes after the cremation, like how my sister was wanting some of it so she can pass it down through her children and so on. Not to mention she went and took her kids to see Granny's dead body that night at the nursing home, and it's like.. really? I understand she's probably going through a manic episode (with her being bi-polar), but it's just giving me a headache with her being careless with everyone else's grieving, she keeps assuming people are grieving the way she is and it's just causing damage to others, myself included.

Rocked: HD & On-Demand channels are working again, finally.

Sucked: Internet connection is back to resetting again every 2-5mins, causing me to get very little to nothing done on here, very irritating. Different repairman is scheduled to be here on Monday to try and take care of it... pfft, customer service actually had the nerve to put the blame for their bad service on "bad weather" .. even though it's been Sunny & Clear here for the past 2 weeks. Morons.

Have yet to get my hands on Deus Ex 3.

Some people never grasp this and realise everyone grieves in a different way, i didnt shed a tear for my Grandad or any other dead relative as its not going to help anything but that doesnt mean that im not grieving for example.

Rocked

I have Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

Sucked

Havent played it yet because my girlfriend is getting me to back up cd's of Phineas and Ferb.

Rocked: Playing my PC copy of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and really enjoying it so far. PC runs it beautifully. I'm also babysitting my little niece, but she's 10 so she knows how to behave. Cooking some food for us right now.

Sucked: Still have to wait until Monday afternoon until the tech guy gets here to fix the net service. Have to ride this out..

Sucked: Random twat decided to shine a laser pen in my face for no reason at all (why the hell they're available to the general public is beyond me.) and pegged it before I could punch him, left eye has a slight blur in it. (Better hadn't affect my gaming.)

Rocked: Went to the opticians and they did some tests, apparently there's no permanent damage to my eye. Maybe the blurriness is just me and my enormous tendency towards anxiety, still ****ed off about the incident though, never did anything to him.

Rocked: Gonna start a new save on Fallout 3 GOTY edition, boy it's gonna be a fun month or two.
Also I've recorded plenty of American Dad! episodes so my weekend is definitely not going to be boring, also super noodles for lunch! :D

Sucked: Still having issues with my left eye since the incident a few days ago, hopefully when I get my new specs on Monday it should fix the problem.

By the way, Is Human Revolution worth getting if you haven't played the first one? just wondering if I should give it a try, It looks good.
