Rocked: Sneaking suspicion my holiday gift will be a new 360 and Skyrim. If this is the case I'll be able to have my cake and eat it too. All the game library freedom and media center capability that a hacked wii brings to the table and a hardcore gaming outlet to boot. Seriously, a hacked Wii puts the power consoles to shame in so many ways.

Sucked: Got SSX Blur and it's quite honestly the most disgusting thing I've ever seen. The popping soundtrack, characters, game controls, and tricks had all been castrated. Sountrack -> crappy OST music comparable to children's television, game controls are stupid and motion-controlly, and the tricks have been painfully toned down. I understand that it's a Wii game and they felt the need to make it family friendly, but if you turned a boxing match into a pleasant conversation over lunch it would just be appropriate and boring for all ages.

I hope I'm right about this gift so I can get SSX Deadly Descents when it comes out.

Sucked: Not a single snowflake has fallen. Not one...

I know its weird, we dont usually get much snow around Christmas but it did snow in December last year. However it was 12 degrees today which for December is crazy, I mean we have only had around 5 days of frost so far.

Rocked: Did fun stuff last night. Tonight, going up to a pizza/beer place my brother loves in Columbia, then going to Power Plant in Baltimore for some laser show/fireworks display they do around Xmas/New Year's. Tomorrow, going to see Sherlock Holmes with the family, then do New Year's Eve (which is also immediate family Xmas) which will include my 18-year-old groping victim. I expect a great deal of awkwardness plus fun. Then I have two days off before I go back to work.

Sucked: Ordered my sister' Xmas gift with 2-5 day shipping through USPS, it shipped Dec. 23 and arrived at a post office not twenty minutes from my house on Dec. 24. But it STILL hasn't gotten here yet, and I need it by Saturday. Since it was shipped Dec. 23rd, five days (not counting the holiday and Sunday) is TODAY, so where the hell is it? Better be here tomorrow.

Rocked: Consultant at the hospital yesterday said he was going to give me a prescription for Dom Pèrignon.

Sucked: Turns out it wasn't an unending supply of champagne but a prescription for Domperidone, which with his strong Ghanaian accent sounded better at the time. Plus it's not even for me, but for Josh - who is still sick but improving ever-so slightly.
