Weather has taken a turn for the worse again, The Darkness II didnt arrive today, had no alcohol yet and its my birthday...

Rocked: For rhetoric class we had a scavenger hunt (I was very surprised since it's not the easiest class). Not only did our group get 1st place, but most of the people are nonsmokers. One of the items was an unsmoked cigarette and afterwards most of the groups gave theirs to me. *cha ching* Managed to get a very flaky person to agree to an interview for an assignment that's really been worrying me. Cute girl invited me to an open mic tonight.

Sucked: Flaky person flaked out on me. Girl stood me up.

Last day of work for the week, get to listen to the football on radio later, saw the elusive sun today. Some positive news on the house hunting front. The Darkness II is pretty damn good and I tip my hat to Digital Extreme.

Still isnt summer yet, cant watch the football later as im at work yet again, no time for nearly enough gaming lately.

Sucked: In the space of fifteen minutes, all the rooms I had my eye on have been snapped up and I'm going to be left with something crappy if I don't get the rest of the money sorted asap...still, I could always go nuts with extras if I don't get a themed room but MAN I want the Sonic room sooooo bad...

Sucked: Somehow failed to complete Garrus' romance sub-plot and lost Legion in the suicide mission. Replay!

Was rather impressed with The Darkness II and going to play it through again straight away. Also get to see if I can get a mortgage tomorrow and officially make an offer for a house (we have made a good will offer already).

Panic at 6am as my wallet had gone missing with £160+ in it (birthday cash etc). Found it under my driver seat luckily after I got to work. Also been in this same situation 3 times with a house before and had someone come in last minute and have their offer accepted over ours.

Sucked: My sister has to move again after less than a year in her current property, had a 24 hour stomach bug yesterday, I'm insanely tired and I've got a hospital appointment coming up which could have far-reaching consequences if it's what people think it is...

Rocked: Extra pay due to overtime, took 1 more step towards getting mortgage approved and should know by tomorrow.

Quad Biking earlier (ATV's for the Americans here). Also heading for a big night out tonight with lots of alcohol involved for friends stag party.

Wind, rain, hail and snow all in the space of time we were driving the quads. Was soaked through to the underwear in minutes.
