Whats Rocked And Sucked?

  • Finally got around to playing TitanFall and after a while I started to really enjoy it.
  • Also got around to trying out GTA Online for first time and it has potential and just waiting for some friends to get on it too.
  • 5 weeks tomorrow until my wedding and honeymoon.
  • Will finally have some spare cash after wedding so will start saving for my new gaming rig.
  • This year is looking like a great one for games that interest me.
Sucked
  • Not many friends have moved next gen yet so currently playing BF4 & TitanFall on my own.
  • Work schedule etc makes gaming time limited and havent played any games with friends on Live for a long time (even on my 360).
  • Internet seemed to have some issues yesterday (mainly with streaming the iPlayer etc), hoping they are sorted today.
 
Rocked
  • Still enjoying TitanFall and new update/patch is set to improve it even more.
  • Really enjoyed Episode 3 of The Wolf Among Us
  • Some great looking games coming in next few months.
  • Some exciting looking updates coming to Xbox One soon.
  • My Wedding is a month away tomorrow and shall be in Vegas in just over a month too.
  • Shall have money again after wedding and honeymoon and can build a new PC again finally.
Sucked
  • Still not being given any details on stag do.
  • Summer still isnt quite here yet and mornings are still cold.
  • Finding it hard to find the time to get through the stack of unfinished games I still have.
  • Roadworks are the bane of my weeks currently and everywhere I go I have to think of alternate routes to avoid huge traffic problems.

  • Stag Party actually wasnt as bad as I had feared it might be.
  • Wedding 2 weeks on Saturday.
  • Shall finally have some spare cash coming in, in about 3 weeks and can start saving for my gaming rig finally.
  • Shall be in Las Vegas this time in 3 weeks.
Sucked
  • No cash currently and more bills seem to come in every day.
  • Weather is awful at moment so hoping in improves in 2 weeks time.
  • Havent had much time for gaming in last week or so.
  • My bank sucks and have actually opened another account with another bank but still waiting for my card to arrive so I can close my other account.
  • Videos have become so laggy on my laptop that I have to watch trailers etc on my phone.
 
Rocked: Kids are back in school at last

Sucked: I am so behind on everything...and I cannot be bothered to do anything about it.

  • A day closer to being in Las Vegas.

  • More & more cash going out everyday.
  • Really busy today getting some final payments & appointments in.
  • Weather sucks.
  • No time for any gaming (had 20min blast on Borderlands 2).
  • Had to drop dogs off as trial in kennels & Fiancee is pretty upset at having to leave them in there.
  • Also got a sample photoshoot today & I hate photos.

  • Finally after over a year got to talk to Scott again.
  • Should hopefully soon have the funds to build a new PC finally.
  • Joe Manganiello book Evolution is a great read & very insightful, first actual book I have read properly since school.

  • Back on track into workout regime today after slacking off due to wedding and honeymoon.
Sucked
  • Messed my neck up at a party and it put me behind a week on workouts and still isnt 100% yet.
  • Weather for this time of year sucks.
  • Still no cash at moment and there are games I want to purchase.
  • Body is in for a world of hurt over the next 12 months onwards.

  • Destiny Beta kicks off next week on XB1.
  • State of Decay and its DLC Lifeline are great.
  • Finally going to start having cash again next week after a long year and half.
  • Also going to start building new PC soon.
Sucked
  • Destiny Beta has already started on PS4.
  • Still need to do LOTS more research as my PC building knowledge is VERY rusty and tech has come a long way since I last dabbled in it.
  • Having to wait to get enough cash to start buying parts, I want them now so I can get started. Its been 8 years overdue with me having a new gaming rig.
  • Currently at work and last hour and half is dragging.

  • Destiny beta is superb.
  • I finally have cash again & starting to save for this PC.
  • Last day of work for the week today.
  • Weather has been great lately.
Sucked
  • Tech seems to hate me lately.
  • So far this week I have had...
  • My Turtle Beach headset acting strange & crackling/popping constantly. Wifi seems to interfere with it.
  • My laptop cable has gotten worse & now turns off after 15mins if not plugged in.
  • My Xbox One headset which rattles like there's a ball baring in earpiece.
  • Destiny Beta wouldn't let me play for more than 5-10mins without disconnecting me.
  • My virgin media box deleted whole new season of a show & replaced it with Season 1 reruns due to settings resetting themselves.
  • Extension cable literally blew up in my hand when I plugged my XB1 in. Luckily the console itself was fine but extension lead is dead.
  • Internet at work had just gone down & can't listen to rock radio station I usually listen to online & have to listen to generic pop/dance station on actual radio & it sucks!

  • Destiny is out next week.
  • About half way there with my PC fund.
  • Overtime next week (need the money).
  • Lots of games out soon.
Sucked
  • Laptop getting worse by the day & can't take much more.
  • Working overtime the week Destiny is released which means I'm now working on release day.
  • Autumn here already, miss summer already.

  • New Slipknot album coming soon.
  • Looks like Shadow of Mordor exceeded expectations so is next on my purchase list.
  • Sons of Anarchy
  • Should be able to afford next PC component in next few days.
Sucked
  • Lots has gone wrong lately and money has been used in ways which was not anticipated.
  • Weather sucks already, cold, wet and dark...
  • Behind schedule on PC build and trying to make some extra cash to catch up again, should still be finished in next few weeks however.

  • Won a keg of beer in a competition last week
  • Been busy at work which is unusual for December

  • Heating bills
  • Keg hasnt been delivered to my house yet
  • Christmas is so close and due to many reasons I have barely purchased any presents for my wife and not got long left
  • Barely any cash thanks to bills and other presents I have had to buy for people
  • PC build is 2 months behind schedule so far

  • Paid overdue oil bill with another part
  • Just about done with Christmas shopping. I've even wrapped some of the presents
  • Having gotten into the Fable Legends Beta ( I'm calling it Fight Club)

  • Paying Bills with Christmas Bonus and not going crazy on gifts
  • Was sick this past weekend. First time in a long time
  • Not working out, Still
  • Not being able to talk about Fight Club
  • Not much time off for the Holiday
  • I have a ton of straightening up to do before Christmas

  • Finally finished Christmas shopping yesterday so after the food shopping has been done today my money can be saved for my PC again.
  • Actually quite warm for this time of year & no travel issues with snow & ice.
Sucked
  • Haven't had much spare cash this year for presents.
  • Lack of cold weather means it doesn't feel very Christmas like.
  • Still got to wrap all the presents which I hate doing.
  • Step son is getting older so isn't that bothered about Christmas as he was when younger. That in turn means his mum isn't that bothered either so Christmas feels a little odd this year.
