Why the Nintendo Wii sucks

The Nintendo Wii is the most popular Next-Gen console on the market, though in my opinion, the worst. I guess a lot of families buy them.
What does it have?
The 360 - Amazing Games
The PS3 - Amazing Graphics
The Wii - Nothing? No good games? No good graphics?

The only games that are actually good for the Wii are the games that are available for PS3 and 360 anyway. I'm sick of seeing "Salsa Dancing" and "Cooking Mama" all the time. What's the fun? Buying your kid a Wii is making more work for yourself.
"Maaaaaaaaam. Will you play the Wii with me?"
"Daaaaaaaad. Can I play it longeeeerr?"

Trying to relax, have a coffee or whatever and then there's kids bouncing up down trying to play a crap game.

Wtf's the point?

I'm trying to play Halo or Fable and my cousin brings his Nintendo Wii over.. Just disrupts EVERYTHING.

The reason they sold so much is that its a console that gets people who arent even into gaming playing on them. Cant imagine that many people convincing their older uncles/Aunts or grandparents into giving the PS3 or 360 a go. However lots and lots of families have a Wii because the children of the house can play on them AND the parents AND the grandparents so they make good family entertainment. Goes to show that GFX dont make sales and if a game is innovative and fun enough people will purchase them. I always saw the Wii as a novelty console which will wear off after a while (and i still do) as most people i know who have owned them have now sold them or are using them as paperweights. However i also said id never play on one, however ive had a couple of games against my girlfriend on hers and when drunk at parties and thats what they are perfect for.

The only game I enjoyed was Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games but after an hour or so of gameplay it got annoying and painful in my arms...

Ive played the Wii Sports with friends when drunk, popped my shoulder out of socket playing baseball which everyone found hilarious. Also played the Winter sports one which isnt very good really. Then played Mario Kart which is always a good laugh.

That game is retarded. How could the fat plumber that is Mario even have a sliver of hope to beat Sonic in any olympic sport?

Very well put. It's weird how Sonic never runs at the speed he should. Maybe during the original games he was talking "Performance Enhancers".

It's not even fair to compare the PS3 and 360 to the Wii. The Wii is focused on an entirely different demographic.

ps3 fan boys hate wii cus of the graphics- cus they think if it dont look good it dont play good
360 fan boys hate wii cus of the 'hard core-ness"- if it dont have blood or guns, not fun
fact of the matter if its fun play it like: super mario strikers charged, SSBB, SMG, legend of zelda and mario kart oh and all the games on VC like: super mario rpg, super mario N64, kirby and the krystal shards, F-zero X, sonic 2, mario kart 64.... just to name a few...

its more of a family gaming platform. not suited for hard core loner gamers. the only reason I might ever get one would be for games like zelda, but there just arent enough games that apeal to me for me to get one.

I always Figured that If you Owned it, it'd get boring but I think if someone ELSE owned one and you went to there house like.. 1-2 times a week then it might be cool.

I liked it when I was playing in the store and I was getting real into it. Haha! Goodtimes, Nearly got my friend Fired.. But thats a Different story for a Different Time Kiddies.

Sorry, I disagree, although the Wii has kind of turned to a ds, where a bratz or dogz game is released everymonth it has its games.

I love the zelda series although i havent played the wii one i'm sure it would be descent.

Super Smash Bros Brawl, fun playing with a crowd.

Excite Truck... Awsome

and Wii Sports and similar party games like that,.

But yeh graphics is pretty dodgy on the wii, but it is deliberate they chose to have motion sensor and funky stuff like this over graphics.

Also Mad World looks fun and hilarious.. oh and don't forget that Sean White game using the Wii fit board.

I guess u cnt say Wii is gd or **** unless u own one (or rent or visit someone who own one regularly) and all the other consoles.

This is what i hate people saying things are bad without actually owning one.

One thing i also like is they're starting up old franchises like Punch-Out and possibly Kid Icars. And there was some thought of Dunk Hunt but insyead Wii Play made the game.

Look alot of Wii games are for partys. I mean i thought of buying Lips, i wouldn't spend any time by myself playing it, but when we need a drunk karioke it becomes handy. Same with most wii games I'd buy them, so i could use them at partys (maybe not Zelda or Metroid)

Wii have a wii, lol. the kids love it, my mum loves it (That's right, I went there, haha) and i must admit, I don't mind it at all. we only have a couple of games, but it is the least used console in our house.
A good game doesn't need good graphics, it just needs to be fun. we have some nights where a bit of bowling breaks out after a few drinks, or some golf. i have played doubles tennis, all by myself, on both sides of the net. it's amazing how hard it is to beat yourself at it.
we have sonic and the secret of the rings, which i just won't touch, coz sonic doesn't belong on a nintendo, and looks stoopid, and Ninjabread Man which is funny, coz of the Title. I have The Godfather: Black Hand Edition, just for me, so don't be sayin there aint no violent games on the wii!!
I can't stand playing Guitar Hero on wii though. the timing is slow, you have to strum early, otherwise you miss the notes

PS3 = Entertainment system with some games...

The only game i've played on the Wii was Wii Sports and I enjoyed it,but after a while it gets repeatative and starts to hurt all the joints in my body ALOT.
