But as i said before, Nintendo is re-booting old franchises. I loved Punch-Out!! and when they said a wii version was revealed, i was thinking of getting it. Also I forgot to mention they're making a Sin & punishment II. I reckomend if u dnt have a wii, go get pj64 and download it (dnt bother buying it is japanese only.)
Also Metroid Primme has been good series, i havent played the third but they wouldn't of ruined it.
Also another 3d Kirby game to finally come out
Another Zelda game. Meaning 2 Zelda games now.

WarioWare is awsome fun, not sure about tht recent one
And ofcourse Mario Galaxy. Yes children play it. But it is actually a very fun game. Alot of people leave it on the shelf because it is PG: No sex, drugs and killing (well i mean violent killing.) If you just ignored the fact that it aint violent, it is actually an awsome game.
I have to say the majority of nintendo developers have been developing for a long rime. Longer than most Sony and microsoft developers. Often Nintendo made games are awsome, but once again the console is often considered childish, so people never bother getting it. I reckon the gamecube is probably the second best console out there. If you havent owned a nintendo you would understand what i mean. Some of the games would be better than Fable or fallout 3 in my opinion, but they're rare.. And if i had a wii i would rely only on nintendo games.

I personally think the Wii is a great console and every home should have one - especially if they have children. It introduces the previously anti-gamer to an accessible form of computer gaming which doesn't require much effort on their part to enjoy. It's not complicated, it's not trying to be a PS3 or 360, and the games are perfect for kids, families and those who would otherwise turn their noses up at a console platform because it may seem too complex or competitive.
My mum and step-dad have one and my mum has never really liked consoles. The only reason we don't have one is because Jessica is so clumsy she's bound to throw the controller through the TV and then Steve would throw her through it...but I think Nintendo have been pretty smart with this (and the DS) - they've managed to grab the attention (and the wallets) of a much wider audience with this console and cornered something of a niche in the market. Fair play to them, I say.

there are some good games like that Zelda game, Mario Kart, Wii sports, Wii fit and there is coming a very hardcore game for Wii but i forgot the name but most games arent fun when playing on your own you really need friends to make it enjoyable

Actually the Arcade version of the 360 is cheaper than the Wii in some shops here.

I've never really like the collection of Nintendo games.
Mario has got worse over the years.
Halo owns Metroid.
I hate Zelda. Completely.
I suppose that's one of the main reasons why I don't like it.
If you want to jump around and play football or tennis, ask a friend, get a racket or a ball. Go to a park or a court.

What if it is -40 outside? Put on a parka? Mario has many excellent, and I doubt you haven't played every Mario game out there, so you can't exactly judge there. And never really played Metroid very long so I can't say nothing there. And how do you hate Zelda? The game is pretty damn good, doesn't stack up to Fable, but it is good nonetheless.

Mario Galaxy is a brilliant game
Halo own Metroid in it's own parts. But why do people compare games, yes they're both set in the future and involve shooting, but metroid has more of a puzzle element to it.

i have a wii and it's not bad like super paper mario(this game is different from the usual save peach from bowser scheme. It is team up with mario luigi peach and bowser to stop a great evil from destroying the world.why did bowser join?because if there was now galaxy he would have no world to rule.) and super mario galaxy, but i don't like the metroids i like the side scrolling one better. and i like zelda but the constant earth/water/fire/wind/time/darkness/ice dungeons get me on my nerve after a while just going through dungeons knowing i going to have to defeat a miniboss and a big boss only things i liked about dungeons in zelda is that you get new items and more stuff to do with it afterwards.
There are good wii games out there you just need to look. but yes the wii is based on a whole other community.

I used to be a hardcore Nintendo fangirl until the Wii. It had drowned in ****ty cash-in games and PS2 ports by the time it had been out a month.
The controls are pretty awesome, but the DS is just better, really. It has a lot of casuals too, but plenty of good games mixed in, it's about 50/50 witht he DS.
I'm more into 360 now cos of Fable, Elder Scrolls and LIVE.
Still, the wii's better than ps3
