Xbox Avatars to Invade Guitar Hero 5

Activision and Neversoft today announced that fans will be able to import their Xbox Avatars into Guitar Hero 5 when it ships this September.

Players won't just be able to import their Xbox avatars, they'll also be able to choose their instruments, their bandmates, and can even give tham a Guitar Hero makeover in the game's Create-A-Rocker mode. Here players can customize their creations with exclusive Guitar Hero clothing and accessories to ensure they look the part when they take the stage.

If you've not already seen the Guitar Hero 5 full set list, check it out ... it's a good one. The title ships September 1st in North America.

I have all Guitar Hero games up 'til now but I'm not sure if I'm gonna get this.. The Guitar Hero franchise seems to be losing out to Rock Band.

I think the Guitar Hero games have been falling off for a while now. It seems like they are just pumping out title after title for the cash cow.

I was expecting the worst, but that actually wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

Need to fix the animation on the singer's mouth though.
