So, I got Star ocean and I played for almost 3 hours. (save points are pretty sparse) So i decided to progress today. It did not save! i saved and it did not save. *mutters* I hate you xbox

Can't even get myself to play it over...again....3 hours...*Sighs*

Ah, forgetting to save for hours and then having something cause you to stop playing abruptly.... Happened a many times to me.

Same here. Just last night morrowind stopped working while I had just done a few things major and was about to save.

Passwords were horrid, I'm glad they implemented saves into games.

I hate games with crappy save systems. I remember having a james bond game for N64 and we couldnt save because the stupid thing needed an outside save divice that we didnt have.

people have lives, we need to be able to quit at any time damnit! I dont mind having to replay a level or start over from the last checkpoint, but 3 hours lost? that blows.

Fire emblem for the gameboy, all progress is saved by itself no going back no matter what...so very frustrating if some one dies...

Sounds like the save system in the game not the Xbox, its happened to me once or twice before.

Let me guess; it said it had saved successfully and press a, and you didn't press a. You just turned it off. In which case, you deserved it.

Sounds like the save system in the game not the Xbox, its happened to me once or twice before.

Perhaps that is it.

Have to try a few different periods in the game and test those saves and see if they work.

It happened to me on devil may cry 4. I got really far into the game while I was saving at every point. It didn't save though did it..

Devil May Cry 4 should have an auto save. I'm pretty sure mine does. Though I might be a little crazy.

and yeah, the xbox does have many limitations. :'(

Well, I just enslaved about ten gorgeous men into my vampire clan on morrowind, and BOOM, CTD! I hate RPGs sometimes.

Is Star Ocean any good then?
