Not that I've really been involved in the conversation up til now, but being on the subject of depression, I read various comments from different people and can't help but ponder at the idea of suicide. So I would like to inquire every one about suicide, their experiances with it personally or not, the reasoning for suicide no matter how illogical the thinking behind it is, and finally what people who are suicidal hope for in the after math of suicide. I know every one's depression has varied, but regardless I would like someone to share their knowlegde and opinions about suicide.
Well, to throw some beans out there, I've tried to commit suicide. Twice. I have the scars on my arms to prove it.
Looking back on, it was effing stupid of me to even consider it. My life is really no different now than it was then and I'm still content with living. Granted, I was recently diagnosed bi-polar and am now on medication to treat it.
Depression is a legitimate medical condition and can be treated.
Seek help. There are suicide hot lines, doctors, experts who are there for the treating of depression.
If you're even so much as
considering suicide, stop everything and get help. That is not normal; don't trick yourself into believing that it is.
