Use it on the humbuckers too? What if some of it gets into the humbuckers?

Sweep picking, like, gliding the pick down (and up) strings but lifting your fingers off so then only one string rings out at a time. I could do it moderately fast by now.

but "Sweep Picking" would that just be alternate picking and moving the pick downwards or what?
