  • Ooh, okay, I'll look into it.
Use it on the humbuckers too? What if some of it gets into the humbuckers?
    Yes it does.

For sweep picking practice, I've already got:

    E --------------------12-17p12--------------
    B ---------------13---------------13----------
    G -----12h14-------------------------14-----
    D ----------------------------------------------
    A ----------------------------------------------
    E ----------------------------------------------

    E ------------------------13h17p13-------------------
    B -------------------15----------------15--------------
    G --------------14-------------------------14----------
    D ---------15----------------------------------15------
    A ---17--------------------------------------------17--
    E --------------------------------------------------------

Any other practices that you'd recommend?

EDIT: Also, what should I use to polish my humbuckers? I want them to look all shiny and stuff.
And also, if you say, play

    E -------------------------------------------
    B -------------------------------------------
    G ------------------------------------5-7-8
    D ------------------------5-7-8------------
    A --------------5-7-8----------------------
    E -------------------------------------------

but "Sweep Picking" would that just be alternate picking and moving the pick downwards or what?
And, how do I know where the notes are on the fretboard?
Sorry, I know nothing about music and such.

Gosh, I wish I remembered stuff from music class.

    E F G A B C D E F?
    Wait.
    E F G A B C D?
So then if I want to play in key, I would just have to play within a certain key, like E minor and move it up and down octaves?
    Whoa. Okay.
Where can I go to learn more scales?
When I'm soloing, what does it mean to keep in "key"?
I've seen people use that term, but I don't know what it means.
But I don't know how, just learn scales and stuff?
I have no idea how to read music, or any of that kind of stuff, but I'm learning right now.
    Hey Arseface!
Do you think you could give me any tips for Sweep Picking?
    I'm having some trouble.
    Haha.
It's an off brand called Agile. It's really nice. It's better than the more expensive Epiphones, in my opinion.
And I have a Vox Valvetronix AD30VT amp.
Yeah, it's good. Been learning more Metallica. I recently got a iPod and I have like, 47 Metallica songs on it.
I just love that interlude on Master of Puppets.
    You?
Hi mate! Sorry about the late reply! I'll update your account immediately. You've been brilliant being a subscriber for so long so I'll hook you up with an additional year regardless. Hope this is alright! Once again: Many apologies for the late reply!
Hey, do you have any songs I could play without an E-string? Or cool sounding solos that are Slash-esque?
