Today's "modern Disney" is just pure mass produced crap. There's no heart in it anymore, even the cartoons. And yes, I was forced to watch Disney Channel a couple of years ago when I didn't have my own TV and my lil'bro would snivel and cry unless he had complete domination of the telly and what was on it.
Thankfully we have Cartoon Network! Now that's quality cartoon shows I tells ye! Especially if you're lucky enough to catch the "oldies" such as Dexter's Laboratory. Y'know, the funky stuff you grew up with. And what's even better with Cartoon Network over here in Sweden is that I can chose to hear the voices in original English!
... yes I'm a 20 years-old still living at home, discussing Disney Channel vs Cartoon Network. I'm totally awesome.

When I was a kid I had Cartoon Network in Swedish, Norwegian, Danish and English dub, and out of those I hated swedish to most, the dub was so whiny and irritating

Swedish voiceovers are terrible in general. Not only are they badly done, but they are made by a small group of "actors" so all the characters in various shows ended up sounds exactly alike due to the same "actor" voicing them all.
There's even aSwedish dub for The Simpsons Movie. Thank Satan that only exists as an option on the DVD - in the cinemas they aired the English one.

Same here, except that the Danish dub wasn't that bad but... The simpsons just isn't the same without the original voices
