^Yeah, most 'normal' jobs dont use much advanced math and have calculators available...
And to John: I have finished physics and biology in middle school, im in ninth grade and I am in Algebra 2 and the sciences are specific and chemistry.

Question for the staff: Why can I be completely horrbly hopeless at advanced math such as algebra and calculus but be very good at high school science?

Because maths is evil. So is science, but it makes slightly more sense than maths does.

Because tests are a stupid way of assessing someone's ability - there should be two options instead. Either exams, if that's where you flourish most, or continual assessment for those who crumble under the pressure of having to cram 2 years into 2 hours. Always hated exams and I think they are utterly stupid.
