I know this is old but I loved the SRPG Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis, the remake for GBA.

Mass Effect 1 and 2 would be the best but you forgot about Knights of the old republic 1 and 2 those would be the best role playing games along with Jade empire

Chrono Cross (sorry, Joe, I`ve never played Trigger and despite the all "OMG Trigger is the ****, Cross fails so much" talk, Cross is still an excellent game).
I haven`t played many RPGs, though, so my experience is limited.
Fable: TLC
(I`m just about to fire up Xenogears, will have to see how that turns out)
