Hey, im currently new to this forum, i do not know if this is my place to call upon this but....

my suggestion is to have more graphics orientated/animated emotions

post below with ideas etc

A man of real I.Q can express emotion in written text without such tomfoolery. Nontheless we do have quite a large selection of 'smileys' already; 47 in total.

I think we have enough. I use a few of them fairly often, but I dont think I would use them if more were animated. The few animated ones we have are good enough.

But if you really really want to use them, you could always use outside emocons. I see them sometimes on here.

I've seen a few people bring in smileys from Smiley Jungle to add their own flair to their posts.

Wasn`t there a limit to how many smileys can be in one post?

It was, but it seems to have been increased lately. I'm not sure what the new limit is.

We used to have a much higher limit, then due to spam and other nonsense it was cut down to 5. Now it seems to have gone back up.

The new limit it 8.

There is no strict "Smiley Limit" but since they are classed as images, the limit was set so that people wouldn't fill whole posts with a bunch of images - this would clutter up the space as well as making everything a whole lot slower round here.

Since there is no way to separate smileys from, lets say, modding screen shots and the like, the limit was increased from five to eight.

At least I "think" that's how Steve justified it in the end.
