Re: Fable III improvements

I'd put white. But my crown would be Gold with red gems. The "spikes" would resemble cross-like spikes that stick out of the top. More of a royal crown of honor. If I had an evil one, I'd make it black with white gems and the spikes are shrap with blood dripping down.

I'm going to bed now. Gnite everyone.

Re: Fable III improvements

allright seriously they need to put spears in 3 that would be my weapon of choice from beggining to end... that would be so badass

Re: Fable III improvements

Gnite Evan...Disregard the shuffling movements....

Anyway Evans idea is prety cool I will make my crown on my good character fit for a saint

And on my evil character...The first thing that people in their nightmares...Glowing bright red with black starlit jewels

Re: Fable III improvements

if capes are available this time around they should be customizable, for ex, i would want mine to be really ****ing big and dragging behind me and like have a badass design on it also color + shape

Re: Fable III improvements

Now that would be cool it could be like the one from Fable. The pic that shows your hero at the end of the game

I hope they give you the option to have like "Show-Off" gold or black or different color armor it would fit you snug, not like giant Fable armor

Re: Fable III improvements

HELL YE i agree i want my hero to remain skinny and look badass with armor on not like a fuking chubby outof shape d bag. it would be badass to remain really strong and have strength at its maximum but remain skinny thats more realistic cus not all strong people are very muscular

Re: Fable III improvements

Everything I heard and watched on fable 3 Im happy with, But theres Only one thing truely Missing.

Dual Wielding :) -crosses fingers that it will be in Fable 3-

Re: Fable III improvements

It will be. You will be able to duel weild two swords, a sword and gun, and I think two guns but I'm not sure about that one.

Re: Fable III improvements

The developers said that players would have a lot of control in how they could govern the kingdom of Albion after they obtained the crown, such as taxation and the management of rampant crime and poverty in certain areas. I think it would be interesting if they also allowed the player to be able to institute various government reforms that could let us shape what type of governmental institutions and systems we have. Like, we could set up a council for the king that could rise in power and eventually revolt against the player and place limits on our power as monarchs if we become too tyrannical and give themselves more power as an independent legislative body.

I think what would be even more interesting is if the developers had already set up a council for the king at the beginning of the game and, if we don't want to go down the path of an independent revolutionary, allow us to work within the system by going through the ranks of government and eventually joining the council of the king where we'll be able to stoke the flames of rebellion from within the government and overthrow the king and set up a republic or democracy where the former council of the king will hold the power of government as a legislative body or set up a a constitutional monarchy where the king will only be a figure head and the legislative body still holds the true power.

Re: Fable III improvements

I learned more there than in history class.

The flaw in that though is PM continues to ask "what makes you feel more powerful". People have different definitions of power but for the most it's considered unlimited power and a council would make them feel less powerful, which isn't beneficial for the poeple trying to run tyrannically. Why give us the choice of being a Tyrant or Monarch when there's a coucil holding us back from being a tyrant? So everyone would end up being a monarch (the same) which is another fundamental issue that PM wants to stay clear of. No one would end up being very unique.

Re: Fable III improvements

I don't think that having a council would automatically mean that no one could be a tyrant. If you fill the council with yes men that profit from your tyrannical acts or keep the members of the council in check with the threat of a military that is loyal to you (like Augustus did towards the Roman Senate or Hitler did towards the Weimar parliament) then the council would be little more than a backdrop. It would require that you use smart political tactics to assure you more power. It wouldn't stop you from feeling more powerful but it would require that you use actual, real-life political tactics to secure that power, and I think that that would make for an even more immersing experience.

Re: Fable III improvements

Unlimited, low price [500] serums that heals corruption looks on your character, and all scars.
Money cheat that works!
When you take a potion to adjust your tallness, blue stripes, and buffnes, being able to move a bar across to adjust.
The touch thing sounds awesome. Awesome sword customization [one of my dreams come true].
The new castle think looks great also. I don't like menus very much, and that's what makes me feel power kind of.
Being able to customize your castle.
But how I see it right now looks kind of like your simulating a town. Then, it would seem boring. I'd prefer to do things outside.
The current combat they're looking at [maybe a small stealth system would be nice though]Last I looked, a character flipped behind a bandit and puts a knife in its back. Yeah!
Oh and If your friend is online, have it like an MMO where they're scattered out and their character is visible, not an orb. For working together, have a camera angle where you can see your partner too.But not the one in fable 2. That was a little clunky.

That's pretty much all that I can think of right now.

P.S. I need more XLive players to trade with, I only have like 2.

I'd want a money cheat also because it was extremely time consuming trying to get money in F2. And I believe you will be able to customize your castle, like adding a dungeon.

Item trading goes here.

Welcome to the forums. :)

Wow thanks! :)

Re: Fable III improvements

I hope we could add a little training feild or a mini arena and watch people fight for food and whatnot.

Re: Fable III improvements

I'm sure that if people haven't seen my post, but I would love to see an improvement on the male NPCs. As a female, I wanted to be able to marry an attractive male...Instead, all the men in the game looked like they had just emerged from the Blue Lagoon. It would be nice if in the next game they tried to have decent looking men, like they do with the men. The men look like caricatures, and though I have heard men complain about the women NPCs...at least they tried. Most of them had somewhat decent faces, and they went to the trouble to try and give them the biggest (and most gravity defying) breasts they could. It would be nice if not all the men were wusses too...They were really annoying as well as ugly lol. Even if they gave you male version of Lady Grey...a unique male NPC that was actually attractive. Like a rival adventurer in the game (kind of like Whisper in the first game...), or something interesting like that.
Just generally it would be nice to have better NPC design. I got really sick of seeing 20 clones of people. Yes, it's hard to have program etc more then a couple designs, but really...It's just sickening to see like 2 different types of people.

Re: Fable III improvements

-Planting your own tree's, one promise never kept my Molynuex himself..?
-More expanded forests, i've never liked the whole wondering trader thing when i'm having fun walking through brightwood at night. It gets a little repatative when they scream "ahhh" because of your weapon.
-Better legendary weapons, games like oblivion have such a massive collection of items for your choice, why cant Lionhead design weapons in game and NOT through downloadable content.
-CHANGABLE SEASONS! i am in knothole island 80% of the time ONLY because its snowy.
-a "shoo away" expression, i dont like it when 20 people come over to me the second i enter bowerstone. It gets obnoxious after a little while.
-More references to the old kingdom, its always really cool when you find things that you can relate to from previous installments of the game. Like a village or some type of weapon/object ect.
-less obtrusive icons, i dont want to see giant hearts all the time, i dont want to see a scroll on every single house either.
-epecial effects, i would always use the multiarrow spell in fable one because it looks cool.
-Summon spell reverted to its more traditional form ( i liked having the archons guard thing follow me around.
-more clothes (obviousl. more specific----more unique clothes! the ability to wear jewelry, belts, scarves ect.
there is so much more to add!
PLUS----why is the season ALWAYS fall after you return from the spire? completely gay, i hate dead leaves and ugly brown and orange.?

Re: Fable III improvements

Yes I defintely want more season change, I loved the very little snowy areas.

The icons bother me as well, all I saw in F2 was red hearts.

The NPCs were all very annoying, except for the shopkeepers because they don't follow me around like a dog.

I thought the forests were fine in F2, not too bug, not too small.

Of course I'd want more clothes, and armors for that matter.

And about the legendaries, I'm not expecting them in F3 because of the new morphing system, which I find is a suitable replacement.

P.S. Welcome to the forums.

Re: Fable III improvements

Agreed byLife. I've made some of those points before, but those are all good ideas.

Re: Fable III improvements

Am i honestly the only person that wishes fable would bring back monsters like the ones from the first game and perhaps some new ones??I mean I really got tired of killing bandits all the time in fable 2...and the Balverines looked like upright rats. What did we get in fable 2?Balverines,three trolls, banshees, and hobbs...:( what happened to boss battles with krakens and big scorpions and such?Does no one miss those?
