Alright, heres my list....

1) Less lag (with menus gone this should be better)
2) More armor (including more armor types)
3) A simpler armor ranking system (Fable 1 was pretty straight forward, but I was lost in fable 2, were the stars indicative of the defense factor?)
4) More areas, and specifically more towns
5) Dog: More dog breeds, different sizes, different fur textures, different barks, different advantages and disadvantages. A better way of healing your dog, not throwing some **** on the ground and wait for him to eat it. A way to see your dogs health, maybe not a hud, but at least in the menu err. wait, well, maybe if you target the dog. More combat levels and treasure hunting levels for your dog. More uses for the dog. The ability to name your dog.
6) More AND better augments (Fable 2 may have had more augments but many of them were redundant and pointless.
7) Fable 1 style visual augment effect. By this I mean the glow the augments give your weapons. In fable 1 they were all different (spiraling up and around the weapon, radiating outward, etc.) and they had a shiny look. In fable 2 they were just a bunch of dots comming off the weapon, and the only difference was the color.
8) More clothing types. Stuff like rings and necklaces, and give them magical properties.
9) More hair styles
10) More silver keys, and more silver key chests that have higher requirments (in fable 2 the only chest I found myself not able to open right away was the fiarfax castle one.)
11) More difficulty. I've never died in any fable (or had to use a resurection phile)
12) More types of strength, skill and will abilities and have more levels for each of them, maybe even 100 (levels) Of course the xp requirements wouldn't be much at first, but towards level 70 or so make the requirements huge, so that only the most dedicated players can have max stats.
13) XP orbs travel to you automatically (actually, I'm pretty sure I saw this in a combat trailer, as orbs were traveling to the character as he was still swinging his weapon.)
14) More will abilities (other than spells, although also more spells) maybe an ability that causes spells to cast faster, or effect a greater radius.
15) A potion that makes you less bulky, but retain your strength, so that you can have the appearance of a skinny mage or ninja type person, and still have strong mele
16) An improved real estate system. Intead of having a fixed price to buy or sell, there hould be the ability to make an offer. Also in real life, not everyone wants to move out, maybe some people will require higher offers, regardless of the house, others may want to move out and require a lower asking price. You should be able to put houses on the market, if the price and town economy is right the house should sell in several in game days.

Well, I guess I should end it there, although I have plenty more ideas.

The aspect that greatly impresses me in Fable is the feel you get as you run through out the environment. For example, the snow in Fable 3 is so realistic and graphic, you actually feel like your freezing in your own room. The fighting style being as original as Fable 1 is another aspect i admire. They say becoming the King of Albion is only half of the game but ruling over Albion is the other half...wonder what type of missions will we encounter while playing as the King.

On another note, the weapon leveling concept is an immense improvement in my idea because every player will now have his own weapon (sword, hammer, gun, pistol) with its own special diverse features such as bloody, shiny, red, or golden symbolizing the players game style. These adjustments, small as they can be, determine the huge deference between one player's ingame personality in comparison to another player. Fable has always been the game with various roads to take while facing consequences on every action made, whether they be good or evil. As long as the evil/good, corrupt/pure aspect of the game stays strong, with the story line provided, the game will become a huge success. Basically, this game will most definetly be the game of the year in 2010.

Shorter loading times. I hated having to wait nearly 20 seconds just to go from Bowerstone market to Fairfax.

Not really...

oh yes I mean in all of the games thus far I have been unable to be more evil than a hobbe (which steal, eat and transform them into more hobbes) so if I can't even say..... scewre one on a stick or maybe..... unload a clip into one with my clockwork pistol whilest in slow time so me and my friends have plenty of time to point and laugh then I am obviously restricted to evil levels lower than one of the games weakest monsters in the game

sorry for my gruesome...views

Um Have you even played the other fables? Cause I quote "i just really hope this isnt a crap rpg". You would know it isn't if you played the other ones.
Amen there, especially since when you think about it, Fable is the ony RPG in my books worthy to be on anything other than the computer (yes i know Fable I was on the pc) But something else is that its able to hold its ground against Halo, they've been in a popularity battle since the first of each series was released.

I love DragonAge just as much as Fable, but its certainly not as popular as Halo.

Not to irritate you or anything but Fable and Halo are two different genres. Comparing a first person shooter to a third person medieval adventure is like comparing World of Warcraft to Call of Duty. Second of all, quoting Jace, everyone that has played the Fable games is aware of what kind of an RPG this game will be once its out...so i agree on the fact that whoever has played the recent fables and is a fan of the game knows this definetly is not a crap RPG.

Thirdly, when you talk about small mistakes such as minor bugs or long loading screens, keep in mind that all games have bugs here and there and the developer's goal is to prevent the player to notice any rather than making the game an ultimate bug free adventure. This does sound kind of stupid but in my opinion, there is no bug free game out there today. Fourthly, Dragon Age is somwhat similar to fable in many aspects but i must say after playing DA for a while, i noticed that the effects or consequences of your decisions are not as real or concrete as Fable. In Fable, if you decide to be the evil guy, the story will be entirely different with different back grounds etc etc etc. In Dragon Age, if you reply to people in text with bad manners and so on usually they just comment on that reply and move on as if nothing happened...thats what i got from the game atleast, please feel free to enlighten me if I am mistaken.

ill love to see a LOT of new things in fable but 3 things i been wanting the most since fable 2 is having dual weapons, your kinds becoming adults, and you being able to create your own hero and age and when i say create i mean like creating a sims character :D

sorry for this everyone didnt wanna add another post but someone made me think about one more thing which is having more then one dog in the world...why not have your dog play with other dogs and etc. i wanted my dog to play with some other dogs cause playing fetch with my dog is that fun so i almost never did it

But think about it, Halo and Fable have a major FanBased war going on don't they? I was thinking more along the lines of fans who would do anything they can to convince another player to join their game, such as convincing a Halo player to leave and go play Fable, you get what I'm saying?

They were talking about another game being able to "hold it's ground" above Halo... and I was just saying DragonAge&Fable (and really any other game for that matter) are better than Halo to me. In general Fable & Halo, from what I have seen, share equal popularity but in different genres. DragonAge is the game I was referring to when I said it was not as popular.

In DragonAge when it comes to heavy decision making, SPOILER >>>>>> ie; when you decide if Morrigan will sleep with Alistair or if you will, it finishes the game for you, chosing Alistair's fate. I think the decisions in DragonAge are heavier weighed and less balanced than Fable.

And you did not irritate me, just made more conversation. :)

My only really big gripe with Fable II (besides my wife deciding to run away while I was off in the spire, thus making it impossible to finish my game) was the lack of character interaction between the Hero and villagers/family/spouse. As cool as it was to be able to have kids, I hardly connected with them.

Fable II child interaction:
Kid, "Hi dad! Did you fight lots of monsters this time?"
Hero, "Uh, hi... You want a gift or something?"
Kid, "It's so nice to see mom smiling!"
Hero, "So... you don't want a gift or...?
Wife, "We have such a happy little boy. Especially when you're around!"
Hero, "Damn this family's creepy, I'm going off to Bloodstone to find a hooker."

I'm just praying that the touch mechanic along with improved expression system fixes this.

I agree completely. I mean, my family lived in Bloodstone, and I was never able to beat my kids for running off to the pirate cave thing or interacting with hookers. What kind of a family life is that? Also, I would have liked to see my kids playing with their gifts instead of the gold I spent on them just disappearing into oblivion.

I would like to go a bit off topic and talk about the retail or distribution proccess of the game in general world wide. I live in Bahrain, which is located in the Middle East. We have multi-national game retail shops such as vergin megastore and more. Now Fable 3 research and development team as well as the marketing team want to reach or pass the point of 250 million sales in order to ensure a massive success (dont ask me if thats a fact, dont know what their target sales is. Though on an estimate, they do want to make this game a massive success internationally). Now why is it that us gamers in the Middle East are neglected for not just 2 or 3 days which is the comparison between American and Europe...but are ignored for about a minimum of 1-2 weeks before we are able to even see the game in stores.

I believe that arabian gamers should be cherished as much as the American and European sectors. Yes, the percentage of gamers in the the western countires exceed the Middle Eastern parts by an inconceivable amount but that only means they should reduce the shipping amount not delay it all together. Why should I, a Fable fanatic and a customer of microsoft as a whole (Computers, Consoles, Games etc.) be held unworthy of experiencing the game at the same time everyone else does in other parts of the world. I know this isnt the place to post this topic in but I just thought this could be an improvement to Fable in my community or my part of the world in terms of customer service. I repeat, the difference between you westerners in terms of release dates is a mere 2-4 days where as for me and my neighboring countries in the Middle East, we have to wait 11-14 days after the release. We represent a large amount of the market even if it is small in contrast with the western location and should be accounted for as such.

Its not the fact that your any less important its the numbers buddy. They can make a whole lot more money a whole lot quicker distributing the game in the America's and Europe than splitting up the copies and running out too soon. It might just be the western way of thinking about it or it might be the fact that i get the game tomorrow night but i really cant blame them. But I am sorry that you have such a wait.

My main points:

Less clunky combat.(Looking good on this front!)
Achievements that don't force to be evil if you don't wish to be.(I know the list is out, but consider them spoilers and won't look!)
A more rugged, less wussy dog.
Waaaaaaay more locations.
Side quests with depth and relevance, not just 'go and fetch', for example.
Fatigue, the need to eat, more realistic scarring.
No more gangs of fans following me around, including into my house.
For my current good/evil rating to NOT be instantly, pyschically apparent to passers-by, thank you so much!
None of the laziness apparent in Fable 2. Examples, the hut that's eventually built in Westcliffe is a perfect copy of Thag's hut. Also, using Giles' Farm main building in the Snowglobe DLC. Immersion-breaking and poor form. Yes, PM, I notice these things - make more unique items and locations!
A way to toggle off the extreme-morphs I've been hearing about, which sound bloody awful.
Waaaaaaaaaaaaay more locations. I really mean it.
The death of the glowing trail and fast travel. I hate them both passionately.

I expect F3 to be GOTY-calibre-brilliant. Roll on Tuesday!:D

They definitely need to kill the crowds of people that follow you around. I don't always mind it, but if you're trying to go somewhere and your progress is impeded by the crowd of thirty-some people encircling you...

I think you get my point. It's a lot easier to have them move than to have to ruin my saintly character by slaughtering my way through the crowds.
