Mainstream porn IS largely focused on large breasts. There are many colours to the rainbow, yet the most common colours are blue and red. Based on absolutely no evidence whatsoever.

True, most of the women (apart from hookers) only wanted sex after you married them. God damnit Kyle!

That was the attitude at the time. Having sex unmarried was a crime similar to adultery.

This is true.

Being a single mother actually got a tonne of women in asylum's for the rest of their lives. Seriously. I'm not kididing.

Shouldn't people vote on how well a person could perform as a president rather than who they are?

It's the Obama thing all over again. I've got nothing against the man, and I'd rather him over McCain, but still, a LOT of his votes came from the fact he was black.

Give it 100 years and you'll have a black, blind, lesbian, hindu in a wheel chair with one hand and a conjoined twin.

Re: For the ladies...Because we played this too

I didn't think Alex was super bad looking.. he could just use some.... shampoo and maybe some dentures

Re: For the ladies...Because we played this too

well im not saying i want just any female president, again i need to make my point more clear, just give me a a little bit more time and ill get better at getting my point across. so far though im doing a horrible job.

Re: For the ladies...Because we played this too

Yeah, well that's the problem with written messages. You may misunderstand the way the original writer intended hos or her thoughts. You can only hope the reader understands you in the right way.

Re: For the ladies...Because we played this too

SORAYISS, my issue is that everything you have said has been completely douche-y...and in someway sexist, even though you carry on about being in love with a girl now. I guess you're just not good at jokes if that's what you're trying to do. Maybe stop?

Now, I can't remember, but was Alex the guy in the quest involving the ghost? Because I was tempted to keep him, but my motivation was "Chicks before dicks" lol. Oh well...

The reason I bring up big breasts is solely because of the emphasis placed on them by our society. Men go ape **** over huge breasts, even if they are the most disgustingly fake ones. It makes me weep for the human races that so many people (girls) are running off and getting huge boobs because we have been condition that bigger boobs is better. Thus why I assume the game designers went to all the trouble of giving all the women the biggest and most perky tits EVAR! lol. Honestly, those things were ridiculous. But it was something at last for men...most of the female NPCs did have a reasonable face.
I've actually only began to play Fable (Lost Chapters) and I found that I kind of liked the NPC designs a lot more. The men didn't look like they were covered in ****, and the women had more interesting clothing - pants and skirts that showed ankles. I found that weird that in a time period BEFORE the second game, that's what women wore, and then they tried to make it more realistic almost and put all the women in full length skirts/dresses. Only problem I had with the women was the unnaturally huge eyes and lips, and that they went to the trouble to show cleavage which reminded me of the previously mentioned people with really bad fake boobs...yuck.
P.S. Sorry about the mistake then Purple.

Re: For the ladies...Because we played this too

Ah, but now they can make breasts bounce around in video games - even more of a selling point. Mind you, I don't particularly want to see someone's package swinging from side to side or having involuntary erections, so perhaps they can keep that side of game physics...

Re: For the ladies...Because we played this too

Maybe they should just have shirtless men? Delicious shirtless men...Oh, but obivously well toned ones, because if they are a normal man, where's the fun in that? I could get into that.

Re: For the ladies...Because we played this too

hmm...no hairy backs, beer bellies or moobs..but not Ken-type men either. Maybe a customisable screen for both sexes to adjust the NCP's appearance to their liking? Never going to happen, but it would be nice :D

Re: For the ladies...Because we played this too

Am i the only one here who couldnt care less about how Npc's look if you want to see shirtless men (or women) google is there not a game. It's meant to be played as long as the visuals are nice (im talking shadows, lighting water and physics here) does it really matter what the npc's look like? Npc design is down to the concept artists and graphic designers. The Lionhead team is mostly male in that department and so it will naturally lean towards the larger breasted women. However it is not as noticeable as other games e.g Street Fighter etc.

Another note is that such things have always been over exaggerated in Fable. That is the art style (remember the gloves in Fable 1?) It's a characature-type art style and so body parts and features are over exaggerated (another explanation for the large eyes and lips in the first game). Of course the second game toned this down a bit for more realism.

I understand that you're unhappy about the fact your female character cannot find an attractive male in the fable world but its not a game-breaking situation. There are males that are acceptable (For example Alex mentioned earlier). Perhaps i dont put as much value on the appearance of my in game spouse as others do. Am i missing a point here?

P.S i have looked into it a little and Alex is not a unique character skin. Both the male and female model can be found as regular villagers (although it is rare) during your play through so killing Alex will not mean you cannot find an identical Npc in the game to marry.

P.P.s Aslinn i would recommend going to Oakvale Town Square and introducing yourself properly =) It'll give everyone a chance to say hello properly

Re: For the ladies...Because we played this too

I'm not really sure why you guys care so much about NPC's in a game. I really just married people to see how many wives I could have at the same time (21) and to come up with new and inventive ways to murder them.

Re: For the ladies...Because we played this too

Lupus, do you mean in the first Fable?

And some people care because they like to be fully engaged in the RPGs

Re: For the ladies...Because we played this too

John = win.

That's like what I wanted to say, but I'm too sick to try and elaborate on stuff.

Basically, all I'm trying to get across is the fact that more time should be put into the NPCs, especially the male ones. I can appreciate a good-looking tree or rock, but when all the effort is put solely onto that, and then the people are done last minute, well it ruins the effect almost. The obviously put more time into the women and their details like their clothes, faces, hair and especially BOOBS. The men all look like caricature...They all have weird heads and faces and there is just no where near the same detail put into their clothes or whatever. They look like NPCs out of an older PS2 cartoon-style game. At least they TRIED to make the women somewhat realistic, minus the boobs. Because, serious, who the hell can have tits that stick a full half a metre off their chests, and yet they defy gravity? Not possible, if it was irl their breasts would sag down to their knees. I'm just saying...Anyway, all my point is that women play Fable too, otherwise they wouldn't have gone, "It would be a good idea to make female heroes", but then they present us nothing in the game. Yes, usually games are developed by men, and yes, they try to make female characters as attractive and large-breasted as they can, and will often go to a lot of trouble to make their breasts bounce (refer to Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volley Ball...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fM6lxmFGvB8 = ****ing ridiculous lol), but, if they aknowledge a female demographic, then for god sake DO something with it. Women, like men, want sex and all that crap, so if you're designing female NPCs to have some sort of appeal to men....then obviously it shouldn't been too much to ask they try to do the SAME with the male NPCs, rather then just making them look deformed.

Re: For the ladies...Because we played this too

Ok i understand this is all about immersion and i can understand that NPC's should be a higher priority than trees and scenery. They are of course your only real interface with the game world. You do what they want or you kill them, every choice in fable effects them etc etc. I wasn't aware that lionhead had actually invested time in making boobs bounce. I've reread through posts and look at game meshes a little to see just how much of a bias there is towards males gamers and as usual with gaming it is a large one. The men are mostly suffering from the country bumpkin cliche. This is partly purposeful as it's something lionhead play off its the small weedy stupid guy and farmers daughter type women. However you are right in that this is no excuse not to place SOME attractive men in the world. SOme of the ugly ones should be kept and a balance made.

I guess at the end of the day games are stereotypically a male activity and as times move on this is changing. Games designers just haven't caught up with this yet. Im more a gameplay and story kind of guy and getting married in game has never bothered me much. I have with my females found relatively normal men had a child and thats that. THats my game style i can understand where you guys are coming from but personally i would see that the gameplay is solid and the story is solid before sorting this sort of thing. Marriage has never been a big part of the game for me and so i guess i find it hard to sympathize but now i do understand where your coming from.

Actually the biggest reason they have done what they have done is that boobs sell. You cant deny that men will buy games with big breasted women. Men are simple creatures and some are easily led by the presence of breasts (im not included in this xD).

(And sorry for the obviously wrong post i made above xD it was completely shot to pieces by Johndoe. i guess my arguments were abysmal)

Re: For the ladies...Because we played this too

I wish people didn't put such emphasis on boobs...All (okay not all) men want is big ones, and so do women, but one THEMSELVES lol. I swear, I (and many other women) think about boobs MORE the men, mostly because men/society/whoever decided women need big breasts decided women need big breasts. *******s. lol So all we thinking about is how ours compare to someone elses, or if they are big enough or whatever (Funnily though, if you talk to women with naturally large breasts about 98% of them wish they had small ones). It's mading really. Which is why now you get a million girls running off to get terrible looking breast implants so they can fit this stupid ideal of having boobs bigger then your head.

Re: For the ladies...Because we played this too

Fun and completely irrelevant fact: I get to look at boobs WHENEVER I want.

*looks down shirt*

Re: For the ladies...Because we played this too

*jealous* need to get a girlfriend...
And by the way, really big boobs aren't attractive at all. There is a line. O_o'

Okay, so, for those of you attracted to males, you may or may not have noticed this too but all the men in Fable II were ugly as hell. They were so dirty, and no woman anyone ever would want to touch them; let alone have 'relations' with them.

.

so much for " personality " huh? :D
