Quite right, quite right. Not that the Co-op mode is bad either. We spent like 8 or so hours last night trying to beat one of the 4 campaigns on Expert... bloody impossible. And we were 4 good human players, but the zombies shamed us all. :lol:

I can imagine it would be tough, heard on the harder difficulties the AI Director is pretty ruthless. :lol:

There's this special Infected called 'The Tank'. As you can imagine, it can take a beating. And on Expert... well, it's nearly indestructible. We just couldn't get past the last one of those.

Doesn't help that it throws guidance-system guided pieces of concrete at you....

I'm honestly excited to see just how much I suck at FPS these days
I used to be decent at UT, but only decent...

Yeah ive seen those things they look very formidable, watched a lot of videos and gameplay videos of the game as its the next game im getting. :lol:

If you're getting Fallout 3 excepting an FPS, you'll be quite dissapointed... or pleasantly surprised. But it really isn't an FPS.

Yeah id have said the same, the shooting aspects of it are really well done in the VATS. However it would be really underwhelming to play the game as if it were an FPS.

Thank you all for the plentiful suggestions! I didn't even know about some of those titles...
I've made up my mind and traded in some games today for CoD4 - in fact, because of the specials going on at Gamestop I got paid a dollar to do it LOL
Haven't played yet, I will in a few minutes...I'm excited. If anybody plays CoD4 please let's get in touch on xbl - Tymolus is my gamertag. I won't be playing on live much until I get the hang of it though, plus I'm having finals this and next week so I won't be playing much at all.

As for Fallout 3, it's definitely up there on my list of games to get next, but I wouldn't buy it looking for an FPS. Thanks for the suggestion though, it looks super awesome and I will probably play it before my next semester begins.

and the gun shoots..

Just finished the 2nd mission in the CoD4 campaign...had to pause and take a break, get a grip on reality...can you imagine what it's seriously like to go like 7 or 8 years, never playing a shooter aside from Mass Effect, and then playing CoD4?

Crazy isn't it? I remember the first time I did All Ghillied Up and One Shot, One Kill... The greatest moment ever. Nothing will ever be like that. You can not beat the greatness of that game.

UT3 is currently my favorite shooter for the 360. It makes me sad that no one likes it online anymore.

Halo is alright, but there is nothing special about it. It is a shooter; nothing more.

The only fun things are forge and custom maps. And if you have no friends on it, it is not worth playing, really. Call of Duty on the other hand... PWNAGE.

Tyloric UT3 is what I wanted most but I didn't get it because nobody plays it online. I always love UT...

But good lord man, 'm in LOVE with CoD4! I only finished 3 missions last night and then went to bed and had war dreams...do you realize that I RARELY remember dreams? But I had devastating dreams last night...lots of gunfire and blood LOL

I guess that since it's been so long, I didn't really realize how far shooters have come. See I had lost interest in first person games and just recently had a craving for one. Man, everything I disliked about them before seems to be gone now...and the graphics...OMG they're INSANE for this type of game! I don';t even have HD but I'm amazed.
