i just got contacts today, and it feels GOOOOOOOOD! now i can finally see from far away again. up close my vision blurs in and out, but i guess its cause im nearsighted. anyway, just thought id share this bit of info with you all

Im so glad that my eyes are perfect, well I dont have to wear glasses and contacts.

I'd get some really crazy contacts that made my eyes completely black or white, Supernatural style.

I think like 50% of guys (And I do mean male) are color blind. Not me though.

50% seems like a little much. But there are more colorblind men than women.

My English teacher was colourblind. He thought the room he had been teaching in for a few years was blue when it was actually white.

If you're unlucky they can actually slide over/under your eyeball and end up inside of your skull on the "backside" of your eyeball. Also if you for some reason would spill acid in your eyes, the acid will stick to the lens making it worse so eyewash won't help until you get it out before using it.

the one downside about wearing contacts(to me anyway) is the fear of accidentally poking my eye out

Yeah, contacts are pretty hardcore. I myself have them for my astigmatism; they are so much more convenient than glasses.

yes, after about 8 hours they kinda dry out your eyes a little, i was useing disposable acuvue oasys contacts all through my high school years, i would put them in around 8'oclock in the morning and take them out around 5 in the evening

very Nice dude, glad to hear you got them. I used to wear glasses (my vision got fcked up from a horrible Bike accident) and they were very crude, always got in the way. Happy for ya.
