I don't like pop/hip-hop/rap, only rapper I ever REALLY liked is Eminem, otherwise I don't care/hate.

Pop/Rap/Hiphop/R&B: Crappy because you don't have to do anything to make money. You can hire people to make beats, hire lyricists, and anything else you need. Talking, not singing. Lyrics have little meaning. Eminem and a very few other artists do not fit this description, meaning that they are actually good.

Rock/Metal: God's gift to Earth. Takes skill, musical talent, and practice to make.

If your band is prog metal, I worship thee.
