I see dead people

Nah nothing freaky seeing ghosts ****. My stephdad and his brother have this hobby project where they restore old fishing boats and sell them for project, anyway, yesterday I was home at my folks for dinner and my stephdad and his brother couldn't make it home in time. We packed all the food and pulled out of the driveway. On the way over their my mother realised she had forgotten potato salad so she stopped at super market on our way over there, we met my stephdads brothers wife comming out of the supermarket, she was also heading down there to see them. We got the potato salad and left the supermaret, about a mile from the docks we saw blue lights, cop cars and paramedics, we saw my stephdads brothers wifes car pulled over so we stopped and saw what had happened. (no she didn't die)

4 minutes after we had met her and she had gotten in to her car some kids stopped her outside a house, their mother had been murdered trying to escape from her crazy ex-husband but he stabbed her while she pulled out of the driveway, he was laying in a ditch 50 meters from there with blood all over him and a knife, she had to talk to kids out of killing him.

So we pulled over and saw her there, talking to the paramedics, and that was when I saw a dead person. I don't really feel shocked or anything, I think it's because this day today you see so much murder in the media that even when it's right infront of ya, it doesn't get to you just because it's a stranger.

That is a terrible situation, kids seeing their mother murdered. What happened to the killer, why was he lying in the ditch with blood on him? As far as being shocked goes, maybe you will have a delayed reaction and really feel shocked and saddened some time soon. If so, get some help.

He is/was mentally unstable, the blood was from his ex-wife, he probably had no idea what he was doing, the paramedics couldn't get in contact with him.

Delayed reaction, Maybe. My body better wait a week or two, I got examns to ace :P

But yeah delayed reactions are never cool, i saw my first dead body when i was about 8 it was so horrific that my mind blocked out the image, well thats what the doctor said, because whenever i try to remember it his face is always covoered with a wierd black dot, i can see the rest his body all mangled and lots of blood but his face just isn't there, and i had a deleyed reaction to that in the form of night terrors T_T if you donn what they are, sleepwalking + nightmares, never fun...

I havn't had nightmares since I was a kid and I only sleepwalk when I'm drunk.

^Just ignore him, that sucks dude, I don't know what it is like, the closest I came to that was waking up with my friends dead cat laying on me.

Did the cat have a bad medical history? Or did you wake up, go to the kitchen, take the rat poison, and feed it to their cat?

EDIT: You must be pretty violent, if talking about a gory death is "pleasant".

Reminds me of when my mom stepped on my sister's hamster. Gory business that...

Assuming that firis didn't suffocate that cat breathing on it yes. My brother convinced my mother to let him have a hamster and 3 weeks after he got it he found out that the hamster was pregnant when he cleaned out its cage and 6 naked hamster babies fell out, he touched one by mistake and the mother devoured it :S
