My poor iPhone

Hauled it out of my pocket today only to discover a scratch about an inch long on the glass screen. Bah, "scratch resistant glass" my arse! Now you might think I was all stupid and had my keys or something in the same pocket, but you know what was the only thing I kept in the same pocket with the iPhone?

The headphones that came with it. :'(

Re: My poor iPhone

:( Condolences.

Re: My poor iPhone

iPhones and iPods are notorious for getting scratched easily unfortunately. My iPod looks like its been thrown down multiple concrete steps with the amount of scratches it has. Yet its only ever been in and out of my pockets and in a docking station unmoved at work.

Re: My poor iPhone

I dropped mine iPod Touch and it cracked like crazy.

It hurts, I know how you feel. :(

Re: My poor iPhone

Those eggheads at Apple should've made them out of sturned stuff. The damn things costs an arm and a leg after all.

More interested in making them look sleek and modern than making them out of practical material.

Every Apple has worms in it.

nice phrase :)

My Ipod touch is in a leather case which goes over the screen which i hope will protect it :(.

Re: My poor iPhone

Noticed the back casing has its share of scratches too. Can you replace it, or do all "skins" you can buy just add ontop of the original casing?

Re: My poor iPhone

Pfft, my iPod was scratched when it was still in it's case, brand new.

:( Sorry to hear about your iPod, Tsuyu.

As far as im aware all the 'skins' are just added protection and cant actually remove the original casing. So once its scratched thats it.

Re: My poor iPhone

Bollocks. That's fudged up.

Re: My poor iPhone

M'afraid I'm gonna have to bump my own thread, but; shouldn't Apple (or the retailer) help me with this? I mean, it is advertised as being scratch resistant but obviously just sliding it in and out of my pocket has ravaged the heck outta my iPhone!

Could contact them but id imagine they wont be much help.

Re: My poor iPhone

It's your own fault for getting an Apple product.

Scratches aside, it is an awesome piece of equipment.

No it's not. Hardware wise, it's pretty bad. The only good point is the apps, but aren't the majority of them made by the users and not Apple anyway?

Re: My poor iPhone

Apple is bad news usually, I have learned from experience, iPhones, MAC, iTunes, none of which are nice, me mom's iPhone has broken twice in less than a year and she doesn't treat it bad, MAC is so ugly and unfriendly I hate it SO much, iTunes is so ridiculously worthless in all forms, I just decided to get a Limewire and some Newgrounds/Individually created music.

Re: My poor iPhone

^Use Torrents and Winamp.

Re: My poor iPhone

Lucky. I want an iPhone but at my age it's not really necessary nor can I afford it, so.
