It also annoyed me with the, and i may have alreadysaid it, Great wood Gorge. Those two areas had so much potential for quests that it was really annoying. I came up with the idea that Twin Blades Camp could spawn more hostage missions, Missing items that you had to go collect, You could also stop the assassin attacts on you, all sorts really. As for great wood gorge, that could have become a trader camp after you cleared the bandits, and later a quest comes up where the bandits re take it, and you could either help or stop them. I'd like to see more merc type heroes, and villans, and more villan quests.

They are (Peter Molyneux) are planning to do some of the things you have said, that is, the part where traders would set up a small camp there....

even funnier is it's not really true... you could just fork over some gold... or sport a wig... though I dare say I'd rather grope the horse than grope Grope...
... yeah... I can be corny too...

Re: my wishlist and ideas

Hello again guys. I'm afraid i'm not so easy to get rid off. I'M BACK!with more ideas.

weapon abilitees: i mentioned this before but now its time for detail. Imagine if your:

A.pickhammer could trip someone, and while there on there back gouge there intestines with one swift blow!

B.mace could knock someone unconcious, and be able to push them into fire/the enemies sword! friendly fire, know what i mean?

C.axe would ALWAYS decapitate someone :)

D.sword could cut the letter H into your enemies shirt :). or perhaps sneak up on them and slit there throats?

two handed weapons:

maces: were able to slame the ground knocking the enemies off there feets.

axes/swords: were able to spin like a whirlwind decapitateing everyone who stood before you o_O

How these abilitees may be added to the game im not sure... obviously they'd be in the "muscle section" or psyhique or however you spell it. maybe you would able to use the abilitee via combat multiplier hitting a 5 or a ten.

one more thing for weapons equality. my friend at school cant stand maces. there so weak he doesnt understand why there even in the game, i recon ALL weapons should be equal. like every single obsidian, master, steel type etc.

Nuetrality!:
"nueraral what?" in the first fables there was no such thing as beening nuetral. i cant remember any quest that would be either attack or defend. and everything would either give +good or +evil. Bring back nuetrality! or otherwise i will have no stroung feelings one way or the other!

living the days of youth....
this is what my game statitics tell me. currently im old have gray hair and im 51. game days passed:14
o_O in reality THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE!!!!
it would be so much cooler if my character would be able to be youthful for longer. or at least only phsyically age to 30 or something. Imagine playing as a evil female spell user in fable 2? i don't wanna look like an old hag. quite frankly i wanna look plain evil! like a succubus trick my enemies into likeing me then BAM fireball in the face!.

Don't rush the game peter!
peter...the guy who made the first one? did a great job designing the quest ideas. side quests/main quests, it was good but i felt that the "guild" or "game" was rather pressureing me to do it. hopefully with the addition of jobs and haveing kids. will"pause" the game for a period of time where all you did instead of fighting monsters was socializing and doding a job. or playing a video game!

End game...or ....
Time travel! gets rather boreing. complete the game. watch the credits, and either raid oakvale or donate to avo. what if. once you bought everything/done everything in the game. the guild were to say "we never thought we'd live to see this but our enemies have found a way to rip time, there trying to kill you, so they can rule this world, go back, merge with your younger self, and stop them!"
replay THE WHOLE GAME BUT! rechoose what you wanna do/what sex you are etc. also increase diifficulty, so even if you've completed it 20 times. you'd still be faceing a beetle equivalant to 3 trolls! o_O

good or no? gimme feedback

Re: my wishlist and ideas

I've just been thinking and I'd really like to see more continuity in regards to the moral aspects of the game...
I just started a new game, and when you're young if you allow the man to cheat on his wife, you get evil points... yet later in life, if you cheat on your own wife, it doesn't effect anything... that's a little odd, isn't it? if I can't even let someone else do it, why can I do it myself? I can monkey do but not monkey see? o_O
stealing from anyone is evil and gets you evil points... yet I can steal the guard's key, even dig up people's graves, which you'd think would be even worse than robbing the living, and get no consequnce whatsoever...
there also wasn't a huge difference in evil points between robbing someone and killing them... and I thought there should have been... I think most would agree that though they don't enjoy being robbed, it's quite a bit nicer than being murdered... or so they assume...
I don't know... I just hope that Fable 2 is more consistant with it's take on morality, as moral choices are my favourite aspect of rpg's...

Sorry. The whole ripping through time thing sounds like kind of a rip off of Zelda. Link is the only hero of time.

Nice Hex, i too thought that, though i am to simple minded sometimes to have more than wife at the same time. Apart from that i think digging up graves should only get you evil points if you go and do it generally, if theres a reason behind it then no evil points unless the reason is evil too.

Re: my wishlist and ideas

I think this is where I come a little unstuck...I've never played Zelda or Oblivion or Morrowind etc so I figure if I try to come up with ideas, people will think I've ripped it from another game in existence. I guess there's only so far my imagination will stretch before seemingly encroaching on the concept of an existing game...

I admit, it's hard to come up with new ideas considering how many games there are. But time travel + Fable just doesn't seem to go.
And Not to mention I just finished playing Legend of Zelda: ocarina of time.

Re: my wishlist and ideas

I just came up with something when moaning over how increasing Guile to get better prices made my scumpy little wizard taller.

General Experiance should go with General Abilities! For example, "Trading" should be a "General Ability" that doesn't affect your Hero's appearance. Then there could be "Reading" which is extra interesting as your Hero is supposed to start out as a street urchin.... Perhaps a "First Aid" skill or something, each rank increasing the healing power of food items and potions.

Good idea. An elaboration:

Physical: Add's to Physcal things just as normal, with Physique, Toughness and Health. Added on is a forth Called Build, this controls the bone structure, and makes one taller and get bigger hands, etc.
Will: Again the same with the added spells, it does affect other skills in that it lends to intellegence modifiers, the more Will power you have. After all summoning an undead spirit is something only a wise person would really be doing.
Skill:
Persuade: Like Guile basically, trade skills and making dodgey dealing etc
Awareness: The ability to note things round you,and see how the enviroment can be used to your advantage. It also increases you accuracy for shooting bows and guns.
Biology: The ability to treat minor injuries, and note weknesses in an opponant, it also has uses for,"pleasuring" others in other ways as a knowlegede of the body reveals base functions. also it helps channel magic to a degree as it allows one to find how they are tied to the magical.
Learning: Increases General knowlegde of the world and happenings and covers all jobs as such.
Profession: Insert as applicable- this is basically what ever job you choose to focus on as a living.

Very cool ideas.

I always thought it was strange how buying and selling items at shops could make me better at shooting a bow. Separate that skill to barter. Could be interesting to see if there are skills surrounding wealth and poverty. Perhaps there will be a skill called influence, sort of like persuasion in KotOR but it would be made up of a factor of many things Money, Power (over all level), Renown and Guile.

Another idea
They could do difficulty levels by having a choice of quests.
in the beginning like this.

A. Snow Troll in the Northern Wastes (Hard)
B. Surpass Uprising in Knothole glade (Difficult)
C. Escort Traders (Medium)
D. Clean the kitchen of beatles (Easy)

The Idea would be that once you choose one of the quests the other three would go away. In addition to that each of these would open up subsequent quests with similar levels of difficulty on higher one lower. And so on through the game ending up with very different endings. I'm picturing that if you choose the easiest quest over and over again the game would end with you retiring to a small town. But if you choose the hard quests constantly then it would lead you to greatness.

Re: my wishlist and ideas

more thoughts
spell abilitee catagory:
phsical boosts..
enchantment. enchant weapon or armor to offer a boost, you could enchant your armor to blast your enemies with fir if they hit you, or enchant you sword to make it lighter.

ooh! and more weights for weapon/armor

weapons.
light: light weapons are incredibly fast, but weak could for keeping the enemy off there toe's.
medium: in between average speed/strength
heavy:good luck swining that! it takes ages of course if you are luck enough to hit, then enjoy the orderves at the bandits funeral!

armor:
light: assasin/spellcaster. this is weak stuff, tough as toilet paper, but it will increase your overall movement/combat speed! dont get hit tho.
medium:rogue/spellwarrior. this is average armor no pro's or cons!
heavy: you remind me of the tortuise and the hair! but of course if you get hit by your enemy your not about to be flown back and be unable to attack are you?

enemies, and be knocked to the floor.
i cant stand it you nock your enemy to the ground and if they arnt dazed or dizzy, they stand right back up during witch time there completely invulnerable, in "skill"talents there should be something to prevent this like assinate strike em when there down!
