A few weeks ago, me and my mate were at mine, chillin playin zombies and getting baked, as usual, and about 2 o'clock, AM, we went to the end of my drive to smoke a spliff before bed, til next thing we know, we hear something running/galloping down the main road which is right next to my house, and pranging out like **** we sprant down the drive and waiting by my front door finishing off d spliff both glaring down my drive ready to be gone if we saw anything. An then to make things worse we heard a noise sounding like it was coming from the field opposite the road which we couldn't make out what it was, and then when we was inside we youtubed 'black panther noise' or something and it came up WITH THE EXACT SAME NOISE!!

And to make things even more worse a black panther was spotted in the woods right next to my house when I was little, i remember cus my parents rang up and was on radio talking about it.

Now everyone I tell is like LOL you 2 are potheads must have been really stoned, you were just tripping out, was probably a fox, etc etc . Even one of my other mates said that, until he came over wid the other same kid, and basically like the same thing happened when we heard a loud noise from up the road, and he was the first to be as BBK would say, overly gone. PRANGY ****. I have many other reasons as to why i think my house is haunted by a black panther but this post is long enough already

I call it a near death experience, I COULD have died if it was a panther. I'm pretty damn convinced..
>_<..

Anyone else had a near death experience?
Or any experience dealing with big wild cats

High as a kite.

I was hit by a car going 35-45mph, landed on my head. Knocked me clean out. I woke up about 40 minutes surrounded by a crowd and an ambulance and my head was pouring out with blood.

Lovely day.

I had a ninja following me once, who also had shurikens filled with acid. But he got killed by another guy. Also, an alien space almost crash-landed on my head, but a dragon flew in front of it, both beong knoced in a direction that kept me from harm. Oh, and this other time, lava almost rose to bursting out, burning me alive, but the mole-king redirected it, to empower his new jacuzzi.

No, I didn't see, hear, feel, smell, or even tasted those things. But I know they happened. :steve:

I had something even more near death than that once.

When I was 10 or 11, my family went to Spain for a holiday. We were on this complex of rented houses and ours was on what was basically a huge balcony overlooking an enormous canyon. One day I went right down to the end of the balcony thinking there was a corner to go round, but there wasn't, then this massive ****ing dog jumped onto the wall of the house I was next to and barked like Godzilla (bad analogy but go with it) and was basically between me and our rented house... I appreciate it was far from death but when it happened I nearly s**t myself with fear.

I stubbed my toe... As dangerous as your story is, mine is scarier OP.

In all seriousness I was camping with some friends and there was a bear outside our tent sniffing around.

EDIT: When I mean sniffing around, his nose was pushing the tent in, oh god the whimpering we did.

I don't remember this but I apperently died 4 times, when I was little and also apperently I went fishing with my long dead grandfather. This all happened when I was only 3 at the time, but my mother remembers me telling her about it(the fishing part, the dieing 4 times really did happen)

Coincidentally, I actually did have a pretty scary (though I wouldn't call it near-death) experience just last weekend. I was chilling with my boyfriend at his apartment and one of his roommates accidentally started a fire. We're not sure exactly what happened, but he put a pot of water on the stove to boil then went in the bathroom, and the next thing we know the stove's on fire. Let me tell you, if you're ever in a building on fire just get the heck out, because it spreads FAST. It was probably burning less than 10 minutes total, but their whole kitchen and living room were pretty much destroyed. Luckily, most of the more expensive items (TVs, xboxes, computers) were in their bedrooms and were okay, just covered in soot, maybe a little melted and smelling like a campfire. As much as the situation sucks, I'm just thankful we all escaped relatively unharmed (one roommate had 2nd degree burns on his hand, but is alright). What a way to start off 2011!

A friend of mine almost died from alcohol poisoning (as I'm sure a few of you remember from the thread I made). I sort of wish I had an intense near death experience of my own to regale you all with, but sadly, I don't.

Resting your case would mean you had a point to begin with, which you do not. Light case.

As far as the topic of the thread, I can't recall if I've ever had a near death experience. Perhaps I have suppressed the memory.
