Near death experiences

Two paranoid sober guys freaking out =/= Near death experience.

I mean, I could die if a bus drives into my bedroom whilst I'm in it. Does that make every time I use my computer a near death experience?

When I had just started primary school, my brother and sister would walk with me there every day. Every morning we'd go to 'Bannermans', this fish shop that also sold sweeties, crisps and such. That morning my brother bought me an ice-lolly and I must have gone in to a sudden sugar high or something. We left the shop and walked towards school and as we approached the lolly-pop lady, I suddenly decided to cut across the road, a car stopped an inch next to me but I carried on running across, when I reached the other side I realised I'd done something wrong, worrying I'd get in trouble, I cut across again, nearly getting hit by another car. When I got to the first side again, I can remember everyones face, they were shocked to say the least, I'd cheated death twice in a row in the space of a few seconds. After a very loud telling off from the lolly-pop lady, my teacher and my mother, it's safe to say I never did that ever again.

I was in a car accident when I was six. Cracked my skull, broke my arm and almost lost my right foot. I still have glass in my head because of the sh**** life saving surgery. Haha

You talk about it like it's acid lool, it's all in your head. No such thing as a 'bad trip' on bud. Never have sketched out for being stoned even when I started when I was like 13 lol

No but if something that sounded like a bus nearly drove into your bedroom you would be 90% sure it was a bus and **** your pants.

Doesn't make it a near death experience.

There can be plenty of cases in which you think you almost died, but it still wasn't so. (And with 'you', I'm talking in general.) Heck, the first movie ever made was a train moving towards the camera, and the people watching it thought it was real. They would tell that to other people as a near death experience, and they would be believed, because they thought it was true, and yet it wasn't, because it was a movie. In other cases, they might not think they nearly died, while they actually did. IT's very complex, and handsdown65 could have a near death experience. Just because you know he hasn't seen the big cat doesn't mean it wasn't true. Yeah, it may haven ot been true, there is no proof. But you shouldn't just assume it's false, because of it. Well, that's a fault on my part, I shouldn't say waht you 'should' or should not do...

I remain on neutral ground, and leave the possibility open, whiel not assuming it's true.
