Fable 2 is just a reminder that Peter M. is a horrible person when it comes to games. He over-hypes everything about Fable and Fable 2, when I don't care what "cool" features it has, I don't want to be finished with a game the first day I buy it. It's silly.

Oblivion is waaaaaaaay better than Fable 2, it really is. It not only has downloadable content, it has expansions that triple the gameplay. There's so much DIFFERENT stuff to do in Oblivion, it's worth playing.

In Fable 2, it really is just the same choice. You aren't good or bad, you can't be. You can only be good with selfish decisions. They should've made it so instead of the heroes' power being given to you, you should've been able to kill them for their power.

And the last boss is a Great Shard. How truly disappointing.

As for the, um...Ooft, what're they called? Those orbs you get from gates, yea you can keep loading until you get a good one, but I did that early on a different profile and they all sucked anyway ;).

But I'm pretty sure you only have to close 2 Gates to Oblivion, the very first one that sets all the others off, and the last huge gate, I forget the exact name. You don't have to get allies for Bruma, all those quests are comepletely optional.

And I enforce that moonfever is level 23(?) and she dies a lot. If you don't get allies for Bruma and you are a relevantly "high" level, there's no way you can protect, uh, Martin?

Yes, morrowind is that much better. More guilds, more weapons, bigger and more varied gameworld, just better.

1: How much is the normal Morrowind?
2: What is game of the year edition? Like Oblivon's GOTY?
3: How much more complicated/harder is it, compared to Oblivon?

1. Like, £5/$10 on Play.com with free shipping, it's hella old

2. Comes with the two expansion packs, Tribunal and Bloodmoon. Tribunal adds a fairly large new city with a network of caves and ruins underneath, and a main quest that involves corrupt goddesses and the Dark Brotherhood. Bloodmoon adds a huge island, Solstheim, with a big main quest, a new town you build up yourself, and....
WEREWOLVES!

3. It's way, way harder in the beginning, you really get dropped in at the deep end, but it gets easier. Combat's about the same but magic is much nastier, curses and diseases can leave you unable to move with no way of curing yourself if you don't have potions, so basically game over. It's more confusing than Oblivion, but trust me, it's so much more fun.

I suppose I'll look into getting it then ^_^.

I have a burning passion against vampires and werewolves (mostly vampires), but Oblivion didn't make it so bad, so I guess I'll give the goty a try.

Vampirism in morrowind is crap, but there are amazing mods for it, you can make your own vampire clan and keep blood slaves and stuff

Hexen, did you see that mod that updated Morrow's graphics so that it looks a little bit worse than Oblivion, but still really good? :lol:

Yeah, I'm not bothered though, as long as I've got Better Bodies so my naked slaves are ****able then I'm good

LOL! you must be kidding, its a swampy waste land.... full of god dam cliff racers and rats. I played the hell out of morrowind and i liked it then but now that i look back... its crap and oblivion world is bigger then morrowinds

There are plenty of different environments. Plains, volcanic wasteland, swamp, desert, snow. What does Oblivion have? The gameworld equivalent of beige. WHERE ARE THE MUSHROOM HOUSES?!

http://www.uesp.net/maps/obmap/obmap.shtml?& <- to the north you have your snow and moutans the south is your swamy area and the rest is all forest and oblivion is your volcanic wasteland, in morrowind the only snow and you get it through additional content, so if you want wierd enviroments, get shivering shivering isles

Niceee. I've got Morrowind normal edition to sell. But it's in polish :s WHO WANTS IT FOR FREE?

Fabled Ravrn why don't you go to youtube and watch some videos? Of Morrowind ofc.

Whoah, there are 60?O.o I hadn't realized there are that many towns. JT, I am at the lowest level. To me, it's a hard game.:blush: Morrow wind would be impossible to me.

If it's really hard, go in to the options and adjust the difficulty slider!

she just said she already put is as easy as it will go. :P

mkay, try a new character type. perhapts a really tough hack and slash orc that can take a lot of damage. that way you can take a beating while you figure out everything.

get an orc or redgard, and go with the warrior birthsign. chose to make a custom class, and pick strength and endurance for you attirbutes and combat for your specialty. pick heavy armour, repair, blunt or blade (not both), and whatever other skills you want for your major skills.

that way you should be able to just run in and destroy anything in your path and wont die so mutch. also, learn to recognise traps.

oh, also, let us know what kind of character you have (race, class, major skills, birthsign).

There's still an unforfivable lack of mushroom houses. Oblivion just isn't as weird as morrowind

I know a great way not to die! It's free and what you need is the PC Oblivion. Press ~ and type in tgm
