Children do everything they see. If the kid is a jerk its because the parent is.
if a persons child needs attending to I tell them.

I dissagree.
My dad got into multiple fights as I was a child. And he cussed and had bad mood swings.
I am a pascifist that rarely uses excessive cursing.

Parents just don't discipline their kids these days. When i was little, when I did something bad, my dad made me kneel in the corner for around 15 minutes, or longer, depending on what I did.

Now, when I grow up, every time we pass a fast food place, I'm gonna sock him in the balls so that when he grows up, he won't be a fat ass.

Parents just don't discipline their kids these days. When i was little, when I did something bad, my dad made me kneel in the corner for around 15 minutes, or longer, depending on what I did.

Now, when I grow up, every time we pass a fast food place, I'm gonna sock him in the balls so that when he grows up, he won't be a fat ass.

For me, it was staying in my room for liek 5-10 mins.

*sigh* Parenting was better in the late 90's.

I know that this is going to sound stereotypical, but I really did see this.

So there's this Asian couple who run a Chinese buffet, and they'll have their kids there doing kid stuff, playing in an unused part of the restaurant. One of them went to the customer's end and came up to me to present a stone. It was an ordinary stone like any you'd find right outside the restaurant, but his was special. I amused him, smiled, patted him on the head (he was, I don't know, four maybe).

The hostess and mother of the child saw this, smiled at me, went behind the counter to pick up some sort of, thing, walked over and picked up the child in a motherly fashion, carried him to the other end of the restaurant where customers can't see and then *WHIPWHIPWHIPWHIPWHIP* followed by stifled crying and Asianese lecturing.

A time long before that, when I was in middle school, a boy I shared a class with looked like he was ready to an hero when he made an A on his test. I was thinking that there's nothing wrong with a 95, but he cried and talked about how his dad was going to kill him.

Sure, the average Asian makes more money than the average anyone else in America, and yea they're probably smarter too, but lighten up, sheesh.

Well, since you didn't say it, I'll say it for you.

Ever notice how wherever you are, there's always some baby screaming his head off, and the mom/dad isn't doing anything about it?

That leads me to believe that people in 2009 hate their kids.

Be it anywhere. Like the park, street, neighboring car, apartment next to yours, fancy restaurant, airplane, train, or movies.

If you don't believe me, go to any of those places, and their is a chance I will be correct.

When I did something wrong, games were taken away, maybe for like, 4 hours if it was minor, or a day, week, etc.Though I have never done something horrible enough for a week, I used to get 4 hours often for doing stupid things, and a day every once in awhile.But after I got more into gaming...

Those 4 hours...WERE LIKE HELL.

When I am bad, I lose ALL electronics other than the radio for anywhere between 2 to 9 days usually... My parents did away with spanking after I hit teenagery...

i was raised the same way. no tv, videogames, computer, or handhelds. my parents saw this as worse punishment then not letting me go outside lol

i probably made more friends when i was grounded.
