I don't get it... You think something's better than an apple product. I mean, sure some crappy new pc is better than one of their oldest ones but not anything new.
What is so special about MacBooks that you can't do on a regular computer?
And what does that have to do with the P3? The YP-P3 beats any iPod ever. Fact. I know this because I've had nearly every high-market MP3 player (Sony, Creative Zen X-Fi, iPod Classic, and Samsung MP3 players, and Philips players.). Samsung are the best in the market, they're simply perfect.
And before we go into a OS battle (It's all Macbook fans ever talk about. Get this: I DON'T CARE), Windows 7 is fantastic and I know Windows Vista sucked. Can't mod on Macs = Lost the game. But we're talking about MP3 Players/Multimedia players here (Whether the OP has the iTouch or the iPhone is irrelevant, both can do the same thing that he did in the picture), and the iPod falls short of the bar I set them in nearly everything. Sound quality and file compatability (They only support MP3s and Apple files. No FLAC or Ogg support either.). Now before you say "But omg windows don't support apple files either", The Samsung supports all Apple files as well as Windows files, MP3 files, FLAC, and Ogg. The sound quality on the Samsung is unrivaled by every other MP3 I've tried. Creative and Sony came second place for Sound Quality. Apple and Philips are at the bottom.
As far as applications go, I don't care about that and hence I won't judge the P3 on it. You can feel free to.
Oh and if you want an iPhone rival, the Samsung Tocco is also fantastic.
The way I see Operating Systems: Windows is a blank canvas you can work with. Apple try and shove their own software and hardware at you and not let you use others because they're trying to dominate Windows. Get this: It isn't going to work, and it never will work. A Mac would be nice for softwares like GarageBand but past that, I cannot see any reason for me wanting or needing a Mac. There are better softwares you can get on Windows such as Reason 4, hence really, all appeal of a Mac for me is dead.
And before you bring viruses into the arguement: Macs can get viruses too. Chances are also if you have sense you will be able to avoid and fix virus problems yourself.
Bottom line of Mac for me: I'll give credit to Mac where it is due, that the hardware side of Mac is very very good and their products are well built, but the 4 words I would use to add up Mac are "More Flash Than Substance". Windows has its faults, but it has a lot less limits than the Mac and you can do nearly anything with it.
