Very true and Morrowind is without a doubt a damn good game and really, really big but combat was terrible, glad they improved on it bigtime for Oblivion.

The first Elder Scrolls was called "Arena"... it pre-dated Daggerfall. It sure does have some sexy box art

Very true. It just makes you think where the Elder Scrolls series has come from... humble beginnings or crappy starts. Pretty soon I might post some screenshots of my beloved Oblivion on here to showcase some of its most awesome moments. Just be patient.

Speaking of daedroth earlier, those guys are some hardcore things to fight. Really- you can laugh at them all you want with their bizzare turkey flab skin stuff below their chin, but they can really pack a punch. I may have some screens to show of that as well.

To be honest, it was just random funnies I found searching the web for images like the first one I posted. I don't yet have Oblivion (will have anytime soon though).

Good pics anyway. So if you've seen a bit of pictures from Oblivion already, I can assume you've noticed it's pretty impressive graphics. It seems more so on the 360 than on the PC, mostly because the horrible lag makes you forget about it sometimes.

*shrugs* Yes, I've noticed that. Borrowed a copy of Oblivion and tried to run it once - not a successful test to say the least.

Since that day I've been dedicated to scrape enough cash togheter for a 360. I've got the cash for the 360+360 equipment(wireless controller, charge pack for that ect ect ect...) and the game, BUT the kit needed to hook it up to my PC monitor is just that taaaad bit more than what I have at the moment.

I have Oblivion on both the PC and the 360 and I am happy and amazed to say that I beat the game on the PC, despite the horrific lag. It can actually be pretty good after your PC gets used to running at Oblivion's level if it can handle it in the first place. As for the 360 version, not as many graphics options, but still solid graphics and beyond-PC quality visuals. Looking out to the mountains from just outside of the Imperial City never looked so good.

I goin to say that 360 Oblivion graphics beat PC Oblivion graphics by far. Also I do agree that Oblivion looks great on both but I like getting on top of the downloaded wizard tower which does give a pretty good veiw of the land.

Depends what spec GFX card you got as ive seen PC with top range GFX cards look FAR better than 360 version.

oh man as far as combat goes yea the missing thing in marrowing was awful but i played through it my bigest problem was with HtH i love to beat thign with my bare fist and in that game it was awful you had to drop their fatigue to zero b4 the got hurt thank goodness ES 4 fixed it and i just got to 100 too and Mr.draedroth is insane i am LVL 33 with 100 in str, int, Wis, and End and they can still go loney tunes and wreck my whole day when i am shooting them for target practice heavy armor or no
