Rocked: Official last day of class today.
Sucked: Two hour calc review session tomorrow, two hour calc final Thursday, two hour finals for Spanish and English on Monday and Tuesday.
Divided by a common language time. New whatnow? I would guess shoes, tennis shoes/sneakers, but... ?

EDIT: Ignore the rest, Wikipedia knows all, even though it doesn't know that we Americans also call them "tennies" sometimes.
Tennis shoes=sneakers=trainers. Tennis shoes are, theoretically, shoes that you wear for tennis, but for some reason my family, at least, has always called sneakers tennis shoes. Or, possibly, I could be wrong about this, I don't pay that much attention to what we say, tennies. Some people around here prefer to call them sneakers.
This is because, contrary to popular belief, the US has many, many different accents and dialects. Plus, I live in an area where at least three different accents/dialects meet, so that's why there's two.
Also, depending on who you are, how old you are, or whatever, "shoes" can mean either whatever I have on my feet at the moment (except boots or sandals (sandals may also be called different things depending on the type or brand) or specifically nice shoes, like you'd wear to church. With me, shoes are usually just shoes.
Also, "boots" does not mean those shoes you wear to play soccer. For soccer, baseball, and football you wear "cleats," unless you're some kind of Britophile weirdo. "Boots" are, well, boots.
Also, there probably are specific shoes designed for tennis. There are also probably specific shoes designed for basketball, jogging, whatever. I'd probably call them all "shoes." Or "tennis shoes."

Although we do call the footwear used in football (soccer) boots we also call boots well... boots. So dont differ that much in that aspect. :lol:

Biology ties back to scripture, it doesn't even teach Evolution, only that it is an idiotic and unreasonable theory and that god made everything. Other than that, it stays correct and teaches appropriately about enzymes and cells.
