Re: Mass Effect

don't delete your mass effect saves...rumors in the gamestop staff say that mass effect 2 will load up your character and the choices he made to affect how mass effect 2 unfolds ;)
it's only a rumor, and i'm sure theres an official source that says it i'm just too lazy to look.

Nope still just a rumour but something that was suggested to Bioware that they were thinking about but no confirmation yet.

It's not a rumour anymore. I have been watching wonderful things on it at Bioware. Will have to check your Mass effect forums and see if you have something on it.^_^

Re: Mass Effect

I'm not a big Mass Effect fan but I am a BIG KOTOR fan and I was dissapointed to find the RPG elements being eased in Mass Effect, and the leveling didn't go into depth, like KOTOR.

Re: Mass Effect

I dislike bioware... they make good games and stoof,
but i dont like it when they start releasing little
cashes of data on their new games in the gaming
community... it makes me cry... :'(

How can you dislike a company for making good games but dislike it when they tease people with info on new games? Surely thats just good marketing as it gets peoples interest.

Holy ****, I bought the game a few days ago and I'm completing it a second time just to see how different it can be. This game is awesome and I can't believe I didn't buy it sooner....

While playing I noticed that there are special ranks? While playing on my soldier I got some weird text popping up allowing me to choose between 2 special classes, commando and something else. Does anyone know what this is and how you get them?

I was doing the Rogue VI mission on the moon when I got it

You get that mission at level 20, it's a kind of class upgrade quest, every class gets them, here is a list of them.

Hope that could help you.

a lot! Thanks, hope these will still be working in Mass Effect 2.

Repped!

Another question:
Is there a way to do side missions after you kill Saren

Once you complete the main quest the game ends, however, you can start a new game with the profile you used to complete the game (same gear, skills, level, even your ally's gear), but all missions will be undone.
So in short, no, once you beat the last main quest, you have to restart essentially.

Re: Mass Effect

FINALLY got around to play Mass Effect.

I can't seem to complete a 'majority of the game.' I spent a decent 30 hours doing everything I could find and didn't get CLOSE.

I suppose I'll have to resort to a walkthrough. >_>;

Me neither, I thought the majority of the game would be the main quest

No the main quest is quite short if you skip all the optional sidequests.
