Eh... I don't know. I didn't really mean "they'll make a book." I just meant that the MechWarrior/Battletech books and games all cover different times and places and people. A world is a big place. You could make lots of games in the world and still not cover it all.

it should stay an rpg no fps if they do make it a fps then will it still have good/bad choices and be first person still kinda like fallout 3 but i dont want it to be a fps still, the game is in its early developmental stages since there working on project natal and stuff too so hopefully its just some rumor that never makes it into the game

Game Franchises don't just switch the genre of the game the whole series was based on. The Fallout series is a whole different story, as it has a comepletely different take with the team that made it. Plus, Bethesda can do whatever they want. Lionhead can't.

That's ashame. I loved the RPG like style. In fact, Fable is the only RPG I like. It's awesome! It'll look weird with it being an FPS.

Leave FPS for Call of Duty and Modern Warfare!

Why is everyone here getting fixated on "FPS?" The article didn't even imply anything like that. Hobbes pwn just made a random comment and everyone's getting stuck on that.

It could just as well be a action or an adventure game which to me seems more possible that a FPS :S

First-Person Shooter, like Halo or Gears of War. But I don't think that's relevant. The link actually doesn't say anything at all relating to FPSes.

he never said first person shooter. he said it could be any genre including one that hasn't been invented yet. it is though fairly obvious he was talking about fable though with the whole "drive yourself off a cliff" comment and where he said fable 3 by mistake :lol:

i'm guessing something more in the mmo direction.

reading that article, it just looks like the writer took wot p. molyneux sed out of context, from wot i read he was talking about how theyre going beyond the realms of an RPG game, rather than not making it and RPFG, cuz thats what fable is
