  • We've all done it somewhere along the line - the main thing is to knock it on the head before it gets out of hand and report anyone who is actually breaking rules. If they are just someone you cannot abide, ignore them. they do go away eventually ;)
    I'M SORRY.
My friend sent me the picture and I was like HOLY GOD IT'S THE FRIGGIN ADORABLE KITTY, I NEED IT.

    D:
It doesn't always follow that if you have a crap upbringing, you'll become a crap person. My ex had the same privileged upbringing as his three brothers and he was the only one to turn out bad - wasn't treated any differently to them but he still turned out bad. I guess it just happens.

Me and my kid didn't get on until she was about 2 years old, more or less, and there were many factors contributing to this - none of it her fault. But we're cool now and have a great relationship. She's a good kid...something of a rare breed for 8 years old
    Which is always encouraging ;)

People who meet my kid and talk to her can't quite match up how I handled things when she was a baby and how she's turned out now - polite, articulate, well-mannered etc etc. By all statistical accounts she ought to be on crack, sleeping around and mugging people in the street - maybe what they say about people from broken homes isn't necessarily true after all ;)
I dunno about that...I do ok now but when I was first parenting I didn't do such a good job. But that's what happens when you are a bit on the mental side for the first 2 years of being a mother
 I like to think I've sufficiently scarred my daughter for life enough that she will be terrified into giving me half her wages when she gets a job and making sure I have the best possible care in my dotage...now I just have to terrorise my son when he arrives to ensure he does the same thing. Then I can retire to an island somewhere and write them both out of my will before I die like all good vindictive parents...
It really was...I'm not a fan of children (mine are ok, but other people's kids are crap for the most part) so watching the little ankle biters get evicted from time to time was a source of great amusement and joy. If I'm paying to get into somewhere to enjoy a nice peaceful bit of time to meself, the last thing I want is someone else's snot-nosed brats ruining the experience. My kid knows how to behave and only ever threw a tantrum once - by hell she never did it again. This next kid will learn as well and there's no reason why other people can't train their kids the same way...honestly, they're like dogs. They just need to know who's in charge...
Well anyone seeing my profile will know your name now

They were Barbary Macaque monkeys...like I know the difference...and there are no cages or bars or anything. The monkeys can do what the hell they like and the humans have to behave themselves. Any kids that do go to visit can't run, shout, eat, drink or scream - so you can imagine the eviction queue is longer than the queue to get in what with all the stupid parents taking their toddlers to the one place they can't yell in - the minute one of the ugly brats starts howling they are asked to leave immediately. Brilliant :D
Ooh, get you with your use of first names!

The monkeys were so cool - 140 roaming free and chucking bits of food at each other. If it wasn't such a trek to get to the place I'd go every weekend :D
Not bad. Just trying to get over my boredom. Xbox all day isn't as fun as it used to be. :(
