Melee was more challenging. Brawl made everything easier. I think the smash bros series is slightly overrated. Like I love the series but you need almost no skill to play it. Just get a freakin' heart container or a Bob-omb or that new smash ball thing. The reason why I play Item-less matches, but hey, items are fun. I liked how brawl introduced the stage editor, but it really didnt work. Like people made their own stages but most of the time the stages were made so horribly that you couldn't KO anyone. And the new story mode thing about the subspace emissary was incredibly boring. Like It was some annoying platformer in which you jump around and beat monsters. Welcome to super Mario. Oh wait, Super Mario was more fun because it was much more simpler. I still love the game though. Brawl is still a special game to me.
Metal Gear Solid was not overrated. I played that thing so many times through. And I always finish in about 3 hours. The controls were all simple and easy to understand. There was cutscenes and voice acting. The story was very thrilling. The characters were complex. And It got me pumped. It's like watching one of those epic movies but actually being part of it.
