New Amplifier!

Whoo!

So, here's the story. I was saving up money to buy a new amp, right? The one I wanted (Roland CUBE 20X) was around $180. I only had $90 at that time, but my friend Brandon hooked me up, because he quit guitar and he had Vox Valvetronix AD30VT, so he didn't needit, so he sold me that for $90! And, it's a discontinued model... Well, enough of my jabber...

Ehehehe...no. My bro got one for chistmas last year (even though i told my parents he wouldn't use it. I was right.) and I mess with it sometimes.

I was looking for amps for him cause he only has a minature one you plug in, doesn't really help much.

So far I can play more than 6 notes ^_^

It was my recommendation. I knew he liked GnR, and he wanted the Vintage/Distorted tone that sounded like GnR. I knew Vox Valvetronix amps supplied this.

I've never tried a Marshall before. Also, what's a better solution for a dirtier tone on it? ATM, I'm using the UK70's setting... I think. Haven't seen my guitar for 2 days due to Canada.

It's all about Line 6 my brotha. They provide a crunch noise other amps can't do unless you're using a Warlock or some other low string guitar.:ninja:

Those amps have a Nu-Metal setting. It may be badly named, but if you turn the gain up, it sounds pretty damn sweet.

Which, the Line 6? The Vox does too, and it does sound pretty bad ass.

My settings so far is:

AMP: US High Gain
Gain: 6-7
Treble: 6-7
Middle: 10
Bass: 4-5
Effects: Reverb (6)

Sounds pretty sweet.
