Alright, so I contacted Microsoft, went through their BS, didn't expect much of anything resembling help, they would take my wireless mic in, or do anything about it. So, I decided I was going to open this bad boy up and see if I could see if any wires had a bad solder job and broke, etc. So, after the awesome journey of opening this piece of crap, I find nothing. So, whatever. I start to inspect the batter more closely and guess what it says...

Do not recharge this battery.

Yes, that on a rechargeable headset.

Your thoughts? I'm trying to decide if I should be laughing or if I should be mad.

yeah my wireless mic lasted a little over 2 months b4 it 100% died on me

Mine lasted 6 days. :lol: I just never called MS after I failed to deliver it to them the first time.

Never going to buy one of their accessories again.

Go to the store where you bought the headset and show them the clear "Do not Recharge" label on the battery and the "Rechargable Headset" label on the box.

Wow. Just wow. You would think that someone disigning a rechargeable divice would be smart enough to select the proper battery.

Even if you do have proof of purchase, they will probably give you **** about you opening it up.

I'm sure I didn't miss anything. The headset is a very simple headset. Just a bitch to get into. I might make a video with my ****ty phone and upload it to Youtube. I just need to loosen the screw I stripped. The screws were had 3 prongs. What the hell? But anyways, going to open when I can and take a vid of it and show you guys.
