I'm a huge fan of the series. And Rin (in Tenchu Kurenai) is my love.
But I also agree that Senran (Z) is just an average game. It's certainly not comparable to its predecessors. Luckily, there is no connection between Senran's plot and those in the previous games. Phew~
MGS is pure win too. Can't wait to play MGS Rising. Time for Raiden to really shine.

Also, I like sims and all, but if I had to pick I'd say Halo.
and if I had to pick not on the list. I'd go with Half life or The Jak and Daxter Series.

I have a tendency to get addicted to Sims for brief periods and then lose interest. (My sister just got Sims 3, so currently I'm getting addicted.) But the Halo series is more fun. Sims can get frustrating, trying to run everything. Halo you just knock it down to easy difficulty and go to town.

You can't really compare the games. One is a shooter, one's stealth and one is...... Sims....
That being said I have played all of them (Tenchu once on the original playstation... and only the first level. I can't remember which one it was. I guess that one doesn't count). I've played all the Halos and all the Sims and have enjoyed both of them. Because I'm more your PC gamer, I'll pick Sims. I've only played Halo 1 on the PC, and fun as it was, it doesn't really count.
