Why metal rules

Re: Why metal rules

I'm more into "lyrical metal" that borderlines to rock, such as Disturbed where the lyrics are nice and clear and the screaming is cut down to a minimum.

As for Metallica: Metallica was one of the prominent bands during the "rise of metal" during the 80's and the 90's and during their "garage days" when they looked totally awesome they were the very essence of so called "thrash metal", and indeed the metal is strong in their older songs such as The Four Horsemen and the other songs in their 80's and early 90's albums.

Re: Why metal rules

This is the most "metal" song ever.

Nobody can rock like us Swedes.

Ok dudes, time for Rabarock in Estonia.
Seeing Static-X today; Robots in Disguise, Anthrax, No-Big-Silence and Gary Numan tomorrow. Full lineup here.
Sadly missed Pedigree (Estonian Skinny Puppy-like band, but Pedigree>Skinny Puppy) today, but I have to deal with it.
You should have come.

Re: Why metal rules

Define metal. Modern Metal is great. There's like 20 sub genres of metal, so.. Screamo fails. Slipknot, for example. Apart from Before I Forget, I hate them. But yeah.

Re: Why metal rules

I love Lost Prophets, Limp Bizkit, Anberlin.. Bands like that really. That's what I define as metal.

Re: Why metal rules

Korn is Nu-Metal. Which I like. Which is Limp Bizkit.. going around in circles here. Anyway, Metal in total is pretty good.
