lmao this is nuts. there have been nutty people predicting the "imminent" apocalypse for a long time. at the turn of the first millenium people went nuts.
anyone remember Y2K?
now we don't have a millenium to excuse buying everything wal-mart has in stock so we are turning to the mayan calendar? lmao
don't make me laugh, even today we don't have the technology to whipe out every single human life.

once this prediction proves false we will find another reason to mass-consume

The way the computer reads years:

For example: 1989=89, 1994=94.

Then you had 2000=00.

People thought computers were gonna blow up 'cause of those two 0's.

Actually, we do have that technology, you do not have to wipe out every human. One country launches a nuke, everyone goes nuts. The few surviving would be too stupid to help humanity. As for the calendars, you never know...

Well, I guess I do not know any of them personally then. I know Obama is one for sure, and don't forget Hitler.

And that is my problem, if someone disagrees with me, I have to correct it. This is my one chance to stop a mass argument before things go completely wrong...

fair enough. i was thinking more along the lines of "all at once" and "from one source".
while a religious afiliation may make you think that the riteous will be saved or the opposite...to me the apocalypse just generally means that everyone dies at once...the only nonreligious definition i could find

Trust they wouldn't care about Humanity at the moment they'd Just want to survive, And Im pretty sure EVERYONE would want to bring Humanity back, Its in our Blood and Its the way we think. Goes back to the Tribe days. Thats where Rascism comes I (Thats what I think.)

Your clueless. You do not hear anything that happens outside the news. The only thing the news cares about is Obama and what he ate today. They won't tell you about the states declaring sovereignty, or the fact that they are trying to get martial law passed in congress. It is all hush hush.

^I agree there, mainstream news sucks, I dont listen to it anymore... But Obama isn't the anti-christ, sure he is powerful and someone most people wouldnt have expected to be president (First black one) but he isn't it, there has to be more signs according to chritianity and almost every other reiligion.
