The Driftwood Mine is there for most of the time. In both of my games as soon as I made it to Driftwood I could go into either entrance. But as long as ALL of the bridges are built and there are some stores on the big island you should be able to get to the book. How far are you into the game...

To get the books in the reliquary you need to first have taken the package from Mrs. Tibbins in the dweller camp to Saul in Brightwall Academy, wait a few days and go back and he will have a quest for you to take him down to the reliquary and the book is in the room you take saul to in a corner...

I online now and have started a new game and would like to play a co-op game with someone if anyone is interested. I still need the co-op achievements too.

I haven't done it yet but i think you can go to the brothel (if you choose that) and get 3 of them to follow you to the bed.... or thats what i read on another site.

All of your villagers will be gone and for a handful of days following the battle the shops and stuff with be closed and you won't make much money if any at all. But sleeping for a couple days and/or playing the lute will bring your population back slowly and everything will start back to normal...

You should be able to press and hold A to get in.... I didn't have a problem going back through after I completed the main quest line. I waited a few days before I went back

Does he have a red heart above his head? Sometimes they "love" you but they don't want to marry you and you have to influence them more for the option to marry them to come up.
