I do think it's a little ridiculous considering it's just a movie.. but hey, it's a free country, there's nowhere that says they can't make a blog about a movie they ... extremely ... like, nobody asked you or forced you to sit on the blog and read all of it then get ****ed at it. It was your decision to look at it. But I do understand your frustration, it seems quite a bit pointless. But hey ! There will always be those types of people, just like the kids who think they're in Hogwarts and make blogs about their wizard filled lives.
I understand your anger too Tyloric, but you've seemed to be going around to threads you don't like and threatening you'll leave or something along those things, just because you think the threads are personal to you and you are hurt by them. If you're going to leave, then leave. I don't want you to leave, you seem to be a great add to the community but there's no need to go around to threads you don't like saying "This makes me want to leave, I think I will. This thread is stupid." take that into consideration.

There is a difference here. Not all furries are like that, I know I'm not and all my friends aren't.
Every single person who would subject themselves to calling themselves a na'vi is exactly like the person I addressed in the OP.
Besides, this is a bit of fun really. Anyone who takes things like this personally or seriously really does deserve any grief they get.

There's no difference. Personally, I don't really see the difference between wanting to be a Na'vi as opposed to wanting to be any other sort of anthropomorphic animal.
In fact, I'm pretty sure that that exact reasoning is used by people who do these types of things to furries.

I've yet to realize the difference between these "Avatards" and regular furries. Then we have the whole "Otherkin" fandom, but I'm not touching that with a ten-foot clown pole.

I think we forgot the fact that people have mouths (hands) and can do with them as they wish. Bashing everyone who thinks less of other people is kind of pointless. We're all entitled to our own opinions, and saying someone's is wrong or mean is making you look like a RETARD and you're being even more immoral than the one bashing someone else about their opinion. Everyone thinks themselves higher than others, and don't say you don't, because it's a natural human thought we have.
