Oh god..... my brother made me watch that movie. FAIL.
Halo movie is a bad idea. I can tell you right now that if it does happen, it will totally suck. It will also be a blockbuster and millions of halo fanboy saps will waist many hours just waiting in line to waist their money on a ticket. then one of to things will happen to each person who sees it, they will either be in denial and tell everyone that its awesome, or they will be compleatly dissapointed with it and it will be a very long time before anyone hears the end of their bitching.
Those movie screenshots look incredibly cheesy, like a very expensive game convention costume. It just looks wrong. The entire consept of a halo movie is wrong.
So no, halo movie bad. bad idea. not good.
If it was made well that would be great, but I can tell you right now it wont be. these sorts of things never are.

But the book is based off the game, therefore the movie still is. A movie should never be made from a game, and most of you know this. And this probably won't even happen, and I hope it doesn't.

I'm saying Bioshock would be a good movie because it had a good plot. Something that Halo, in my opinion, does NOT.

I was just wondering that myself.

BioShock would be a good movie because it's a great plot, and it was a great game, which you still don't know all the secrets too. Halo is just getting bland at this point, it should've ended at Halo 3. Bungie just thinks they are so much more than they really are. Either way, any movie based off of a game would be bad. Bioshock would just be a good idea.
Besides, Call of Duty is better than Halo.
Lose the zeroes (Bungie)! Get with the heroes(InfinityWard)!

I think Bioshock would make a good movie but I don't think the Big Daddies would look as good in the films as they do in the games. And if COD 5 is better than Halo 3 then why is Halo 3 the most popular game on XBL?

As many people have said, it depends on your point of view.
I see Halo as the generic "Sci Fi" garbage.
Humans find alien race.
Humans fight alien race.
Alien Race tries to destroy human race with alien technology.
etc.
And, there are more "new" gamers and as far as I know, most of the Xbox 360 bundles comes with a copy of Halo 3 and some other game.
