Yesterday in Language Arts we got an assignment to write a short story. I've decided to make the short story about the forums in real life and what happens.

I plan to include the following people:

Pirate X (duh)
DarkenedSoul
Dark Drakan
JohnDoe
ScareCrowReturn
Dr Doom

and either Tsuyu or FableFreak.

EDIT: and droded

Right now I don't have a detailed plot, but basically DS brings us together and went crazy so we have to engage in an epic battle against him on a mountaintop.

His short stories are too short for any of that. Too short even for each listed character to get a mentioning. Example. My case, I rest it.

It's more like a Twitter or Facebook entry rather than a short story.

You never asked for permission to use my name in any written work. If you are to include me, I expect a certain amount of influence in the storyline. Starting with the part where I laugh at the trolls and exit stage left, not to be seen for the remainder of the piece.

I'm a bit insulted that I wasn't included.

Oh well.

Good thing I can write my own stories.

Dude, what grade are you in that you do little short stories?

I have to do a 2-5 page biography on a famous poet, musician, artist, etc.

I'm, of course, doing mine on Les Paul.

A traditional short story ranges from 1000-15,000 words.

I don't see whats wrong with short stories. A lot of writers do short stories. H.G. wells book 'the time machine' began as a short story but became a series after it became very popular.

Short stories aren't reall that short, its just they are short compared to novels.
