Modern Warfare 2

Well, in just seven days Modern Warfare 2 will be coming out!

I've made this thread for the purposes of finding people to play online and spec-ops with (Mostly online, because party chat will be blocked in most game types) and to discuss the actual game itself.

If you want to play online with others just do this:
So, just post your gamertag here, and when you will probably be playing!

Time Playing: Probably most of Wednesday (thank you, Vet's day!)

Game mode: Spec-Ops or Online (Team Death Match till I unlock Hardcore.)

And now, I'm sure most of you guys know, IW has decided to block party chat in most game types. This includes Search and Destroy (I can see why in SnD) and Team Death Match.

I think that the TDM Party Ban is just ridiculous, because in Search and Destroy, having someone rat out your team just takes the Search out. But really, Team Death Match? Maybe in Hardcore, but not in just normal.

I think the allowed types are Free For All, 3rd Person games, and something else.

You know I'll be playing.

And you get Wednesday off? Damn, I get an assembly and we watch a bunch of people put some wreaths on this cross, and then some crappy plays, then a moment of silence. Or we do that first.

Yeah, of course I will. I'll try to beat the campaign first though, and maybe ask and hope for a day off. And you call it veterans day? Remembrance Day is what it is here.

I know, Canada was in WWI. :lol:

ok, anyone here thats a cod veteran (i am by no means) can you help me out? im trying to understand some of the perks and stuff, because i am a humble noob. love the game and all, but i am easily confused :S
what are perks, and what do they do?

plus, now im torn between cod 6 and its awesomeness and gears of war 2 and its triple exp week. aaaah

if you were a real COD fan you would get it from the shops so Infinity ward gets money and continues to make great games rather than going the cheapskate and illegal way by downloading. Shame on you.

So, I see from your gamertag that you've been playing MW2. You SOB. I still have to wait about 8 hours to get mine.

Now that thats out of the way, what do you need help with? I don't remember what perks are in MW2, but just remember that using martyrdom makes you a n00b and your mother will stop loving you. So don't use it.

This game looks too good to just **** on the developers to get it for free.

And tomorrow is gonna be a freakin' awesome day, my mom is gonna try to pick up the hardened edition if possible, AND I get to dissect a sheep heart. HELLS YEAH.
