This game looks too good to just **** on the developers to get it for free.

And tomorrow is gonna be a freakin' awesome day, my mom is gonna try to pick up the hardened edition if possible, AND I get to dissect a sheep heart. HELLS YEAH.

I'm getting it right after school! I can't wait! So much that I have to use exclamation points! I don't think I can play with you right away, Kyle, I'm gonna be playing Spec Ops with my broski.

Anybody who has a pirated version of the game is:

1 Not a true fan of Call of Duties
2 Doesn't deserve the game
3 Should pay double the price

Im a little miffed about the no dedicated servers and mods for the PC version.

Ill probably get the 360 version on Christmas.

Yeah, my cousin is getting it for the PC, he preordered it, and when he heard about this, he got really ****ed off.

I didn't even know you could mod COD4 or anything though. Online too?

um....ok martyrom makes you a noob, but i dont know what that is. lawsl. OK I SUCK HARD ON COD. nows thats out of the way, i would like to express my high favouritism fo spec ops. did it for a bout an hour, and got 7 stars. there is a variety of mission types, such as assault, race, stealth, wave defense, and ive only unlocked the first 2.

I'd be excited but since im getting a modded Xbox 360 today I can download the game Via Thepiratesbay.com and be playing by tonight pretty smooth :shifty: pretty smooth

well it is true COD isnt really my kind of game MMORPG and RPG-Shooters are my games like Fallout Three and Borderlands

I've played about 6 minutes of the special ops thingy and I suck even worse than I do at COD4. But I like playing with the Predator Drone...would have been more useful if I hadn't bombed us with it but at least I got the gist of it. More or less...

Of course. It is a slap in the face to PC gamers everywhere who are realizing for the first time that the game industry has stopped caring about them. This actually happened a very long time ago, an apathy to the PC gamer growing over time that became especially apparent with this last generation of consoles. The PC - which most would assume to be neutral in the console wars - has taken a back seat to consoles. Most have dismissed this simple but mind-numbing truth either through denial or ignorance because it seems absolutely ridiculous, which is why this announcement of no dedicated servers is hard to take in. It almost seems like a bad joke and people are just sitting there waiting for a punchline.

The thing is that there's no punchline for "we don't love you anymore, PC gamers."

At least there are some PC developers loyal to the platform.

Yeah some servers ran custom mods. And alot of the stuff that was put into MW2 came from some of the mods made for MW

Oh god, Modern Warfare 2 is so awesome.

I've been playing it for hours, the multiplayer is awesome (haven't been lagging, which is new for me), the story mode is exceptional, and spec-ops is amazing!

@Angel, was the spec ops mission "Sniper Fi"? Haha, the predator missile is really cool. =]

A few quick tips:
1. If you liked the MP5 in Modern Warfare, then use the UMP in MW2. It's pretty much the same thing. The MP5K, to me, is pretty much the Skorpion.
2. The semtex are waaay better than frags, semtex are the sticky grenades, and they have a higher blast radius.
3. THE GLASS BREAKS!
4. to unlock the Red Dot Sight and ACOG, then just get marksman challenges.
5. To unlock Holographic and Thermal, then get kills while zoomed in with the Red Dot or ACOG.

Well, they unavoidable camping problem is there, but that can't be helped. The story is pretty good, but I liked the first one better, and the spawn system online needs some work.
