okey, i renamed the finalalbion(finalalbion.wad) to the regulairy name, then the game crashes

You did rename the file called FinalAlbion.wad that is in the folder:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Fable - The Lost Chapters\data\Levels

and not the folder named FinalAlbion right?

the FinalAlbion.wad file was also named finalalbion.
But i fixed it , wrote wrong name to the weps name in the chest

So yes my guide would have fixed your probably had you used it correctly.

Hi, i am usually a quick learning with modding and coding, but i have followed your guide completely, i think... and i have closed albion explorer and clicked save. (Also i have done freeroam and extracted the maps, also i have renamed the file.)

The problem is when i go to open fable, (run fable.exe) nothing runs, no error message even pops up. If i hit CRTL ALT + DEL and go to running processes i see that fable is running but not doing what it should be. I.E playing.

I dont know what is wrong with this could someone help? Thanks.

Oh, also my code cant be wrong because i was running a test, so i didnt change it, i left it as default, the sword of aoens.

Sorry for late reply, when i click open on the fable.exe file to open the game nothing happens.

Also, i renamed the wad file.

I ask because someone recently renamed the Final Albion folder, not the FinalAlbion.wad file.

yes, it was working fine before i used the mods.

i just uninstalled fable and reinstalled and its working again.

i read that you can manually add the code into the file you extract from the wad.

Do i need to do anything specific, or just extract from wad and add the code. if not can you give me a brief explanation and a good guide link on here? theres a few i dont know which is best.

I think i would rather just manually add the code than messing with software that is meant to help.

I just reinstalled fable and now i cant open the game at all. Its the same error as before : when i click on fable.exe it just doesnt run. i have waited over 6 hours for it to open as i left it over night, so it definatly isnt going to open. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling again. It still doesnt open. Can someone help me fix this?

Did you rename or move the FinalAlbion.wad file? That is a common mistake.

Hi its TheAngryFableNerd (TAFN for short) i have a porblem i have compleated all steps and renamed the WAD file but i have one problem when i load the game it goes half way then shuts dow :/ any clue why ?

try moving the finalalbion.wad to your desktop, open the folder you have it in, and drag it and drop it right in your desktop, thats a more efficient way.

Did u change the userst.config to "UseLevelWAD FALSE;" cause if you didnt do that then removing the .wad does nothing.

are you sure you didnt delete any of your data files? I have never had a fable crash using a fresh non modded fable. make sure in your "Levels" folder there is a "FinalAlbion" Folder and 2 other files (in the Levels Folder as well): "creature_hub.tng" and "creature_hub.lev" Those 3 items SHOULD be in your Levels folder if you ripped it right.

and how exactly do you get to the chest? i mean won't it be standing in the midle of an area you can't get to :/ I'm new to this so meh.
